@TheMico5 back then, this was still Yugoslavia! the first countries that left Yugoslavia(which leaded to the separating it slowly) were Slovenia and Croatia in 1991... this song is from 1989 (as you can see in the title)

but yeah, the contestant is Croatian.

@TheMico5 precisly, there is one Serb in group Riva and the other contestatns are Croatians who lived in Yugoslavia and of course represent Yugoslavia, not Croatia. Very proud they won for Yugoslavia
