The armed forces of Iraq held for about three weeks against a relatively small American/British invasion force. I hope the Iranian people aren't drinking the kool-aid being served to them by their leaders that they could defeat the United States militarily. A war with the U.S. would be short, bloody, and not to their advantage. An occupation would be a different story which is why I recommend destroying their military, nuclear facilities, and then leaving to let them think about it.
