I had the strobe/flicker problem on my 55" LN55C630. Researching online I found an EASY fix that involves cutting a jumper on the power supply motherboard. For my model this was jumper JP854. For model LN46C630 I understand that the jumper is JP852. Steps to repair are:
1. Remove back panel - 18 screws
2. Find the jumper on the power supply board (which is the one the power plugs into) on the upper left. DON'T TOUCH THE BOARD IN 'HOT' REGION.
The Flickering started when I changed video sources from my HDMI for my Cable TV to AV2 for my game console. It wasn't consistent at first, but after a weeks time the flickering begins 5 minutes into viewing. This also happens when it is left solely on the HDMI connection for my cable tv. I have done all steps, but NO Change. I have owned this unit for only 18 months & have maintained a proper environment. Model no. Is LN55C630. I would like a response.
