@yummiwatch- I agree. i got into kpop back in like 2002 and i was blown away (but still liked) with the amount of skinship (as Koreans call it in varieties) that guy groups have with each other. Shinhwa (my all time fav and the one that got me into kpop) was known on varieties and at their fan meetings/concerts for their skinship and it drove their fans wild everytime! I dont mind it and sometimes think its really cute!

@destined2bebossy Korea is still pretty conservative, but the culture is different. This kind of thing between boys is not automatically viewed as a sexual thing but as affection. They MIGHT be gay for all I know, but this is affection, not sexuality.

Boys might hold hands without it being a big deal the way boys holding hands in the west would be to some people. Boy/girl affection gets a MUCH more OMG response, plus the girl fans get jealous (see vid of Heechul hugging Taeyon for example).
