  • i love this song:)

  • Carl and Al's guitars were always too low in the live mix. It's what Murry wanted, and I guess it became habit.

  • There was a Righteous Brother dancing in front of Dennis.

  • The pony, the twist & the jerk. Those were the dances of the day. Plus GREAT music.

  • Thumbs up if you heard this first time in Big Time Rush Version ;D

  • Yeah the shirts were corny. But way better than Nehru jackets and love beads.

  • This performance took place six days before Brian's first nervous breakdown, which happened on an airplane from L.A. to Houston on December 23, 1964. He was one week away from his last live performance for many years.

  • I could never wear the clothes those women were wearing but awesome song and the balloons were all ninja like

  • Too bad you can't really see those dance moves, I've never seen such well-dressed dancers cutting loose like it seems these dancers are! The BBs are diggin it too.

  • man those white kids can dance!

  • A pity of the poor sound quality but this is one of my favourite Beach Boys tunes

  • this video was taped just before brian wilsons nervous break down and he stopped touring,he'd make tv appearances but stopped touring!

  • would love to be transformed into this studio for just one night.

15 years olds screaming in the seats,,,,,25=35 year olds doing the wonderfully suggestive Shindig dance steps..

    a party for everybody!!!!!....

and remarkablyy the BBoys continue to rip this live performance right up...thats right...live,,and wonderfully and shockingly so,

    terrific stuff

  • @jctorontojctoronto

Did you notice that in front of the Beach Boys were the Righteous Brothers abd also Bobby Sherman dancing?? :-)

Right at the end Brian was really ripping it up and yelling. 8oD I love it!

  • It says Shindig at the end. jeez

  • love this song and the wilson Phillips cover of it

  • No copyright question, but what show was this? My guess is Hullabaloo or Shindig, but I'm not sure,

  • @Bluntfacts I would guess Shivaree or possibly Shindig because of the apparent quality(or lack thereof) of the master tape this was recorded off of.

  • the girl who is dancing in front of the band is funny! lol

  • This song is one of Mike Love's best efforts! It's amazing that six days after this performance on Shindig, that Brian had his first nervous breakdown.
