the hologram keyboard that works is possible, see theres this electronic harp that uses projections as the strings and once the light projections are interupted they play the note. if they studied this and used this method then yeah we would have this. sorry i dont know all the scientific details about this mechanism. one more thing, in my opinion the ultra thin design isnt that nice looking :/ just my opinion though

It wouldn't be anymore of a laser than any projector would be. All there would have to be is a sensor that detected how far your fingers are in front of the phone. The phone would know where the keys were projected. How does that go against quantum theory?

Another item that I doubt will be part of iPhone 5, but is possible for something closer to iPhone 8 or 9. I'd love to see this kind of feature on a lot of smart phones, but we're still a ways off from implementing it so smoothly on such a small device. Soon, but not there yet.
