  • skiddies dont know bout ma notepad skillz

  • and the commad is /mode not //mode. you suck.

  • Delete system32 is the best way in hiding your ip.

  • idiot

  • This is a fucking fake. Can't evade Z:lined bans.

  • Now i need a guide on how to find ips on irc

  • @VampiresDoRule /whois ...

  • Come on, this doesnt work for most servers anyway it depends on the IRCd.

Besides that, learn how to use tab and learn how to create a video tutorial properly.

    Youre a joke.

  • what a fukin retard

  • To make this video a lot easier, you could have just taken all that text you had erased and put that into the comments section for quick reference... You could have also just not typed it because you showed exactly what you had to do...

  • Yeah, umode +x is good to have, but most servers that allow host masks automatically set the umode on connect. Also, it does not hide your IP from whichever IRCop decides to take a look.

  • Clap hands

    NOT! :X!

  • You bunch of dorks. Use proxy servers, or get a shell.

  • @zkafel proxy detectors are getting better

  • @zkafel A lot of IRC servers have a BOPM bot, which has a list of most known open proxy servers, so if you tried connecting on one, you'd most likely be G-Lined permanantly.

  • @TheMakerIII dude I've been using irc for some 15+ years and i've never had a problem using proxy servers or a trusty shell + BNC. i guess things change (and usually for the worst). with more people, comes more stupidity, so they want to take anonymity away from us. i don't even know why i commented on this video, i rarely go on irc anymore. "How was your meeting dude?" "ok, The old man told me to take any rug in the house!"

  • @zkafel O.o

  • @zkafel I agree. Its becoming a pain having to deal with the government giving more powers that be to the Police, to LITERALLY police our state-wide, soon to be government owned after being federally regulated moving on a global scale. Better learn as much about the internet, programming etc.etc. May come in handy soon..in the future.

  • TOTAL WASTE OF FUCKING TIME

  • can someone pelase HELP there is a moron keep packeting me and i dont know why and how to stop him

he keeps doing it everytime he keeps kamping in channels were i go.

  • @TheRogueMonk Type /ignore wd *

  • @TheRogueMonk If you do //mode $me +p

You set yourself as private, only people in a room that you're in can see that you're in that room, even on /whois or an extended /whois

This is how he's finding you, unless he's an IRCop

  • @TheMakerIII thank you i hope this works on efnet.

  • @TheRogueMonk It will if the server is Unreal

    By which I mean UnrealIRCd

Unless the config keepers disabled it.

  • You now there is also an I.P scrambler right? what it basicaly does is switches your I.P to random numbers until you turn it of witch helps if you are I.P banned.

  • @GoblinGods

    lol, ip scrambler

  • so wats with all the weird status we see when we look up user info...like xxx@is.eating.pie....and all that?

  • Thank you for not putting a song in, songs over videos are stupid.

  • This is a noob tutorial. Doesn't even work on Undernet. Anyone can type "/DNS NICK" and find your IP.

  • ever tried macromedia captivate? would really make better video ansd it's easier than using the notepad.

  • um... if a client is using +x. right click there name & than click on WHOIS... it will show you the original information LOLOLOLOLOL

  • ahahah you sucks :))

  • Not all networks support hostmask hiding with +x, some you have to register for before it works.

You are better off using a bouncer or a proxy.

  • @AICorp How do you use a proxy with mirc?

  • Mostly all network would automatically set +x on your client.

  • I don't get why people make youtube video tutorials like this. You can just use the print screen option and put screenshots with a text tutorial on the net that's much more versatile and quicker. Is it about getting a high rated video or something? Jesus.

I mean, it's been help but I might as well have looked the same thing up and found a forum post.

  • look guys..i' not trying to look down on you but you are trying the difficult option of this

just stay where you are type (like you are msging somebody) //mode $me +x

you don't need to do it that way

  • Not all networks support hiding, some you have to register before +x works. So I've read, I'm still learning how to use IRC myself.

  • but the way he shows is permanent ... ur way is not , ppl who wanna hide their adress wanna do it permanently ..

  • That didn't work!

  • i dunno, that's always worked in my client

well i guess there should check some options..and uncheck some.

  • thx ,it realy works and yes only for registered servers

  • this is work only if u have a registred user on undernet server!,or other servers.

to hide ur real ip just try to use some proxy servers! good luck

  • just for fun.. i try on undernet.. and it doesnt work.. my real ip came up!! so i think its not working on UNdernet!

  • it did not work for DalNet

  • If you have a decent IRC client it automatically sets mode +ix when you join a server.

  • mode +x will not hide ur ip from teh network or server it will simple cover your ip with a hostmask usually containing the name of ur internet provider on the whois and it hides ur actually ip address to prevent ddos attacks and such but theres no idea to hide ur actually ip from the servers root admins they can see it as soon as u connect to there server

  • This is not working

  • doesent work here... still got same ip on whois and i still can get banned.. is this for z:line q:line and stuff?

  • omg its woeking!!!!!! 100%%%%%%%%%%

i was ban from EFNET server and now i can connect!! OMG THANKSSSSSSSSSS I LOVE YOU

  • @lenarass if you were banned why would you go back?

  • How do i know if it worked?

  • lol!

just type //mode $me +x when u'r connected to the server.

and not all server are the same. some auto hide ip and some don't hide ur ip. eg. dalnet

  • You know you could have just instructed users to follow your commands on screen without flipping back and forth between notepad?

  • It did not work for me.

  • register on that irc server and you can get a Vhost

  • doda, in some servers, getting a vhost is hard.

  • this shit is for gamesurge

  • This doesn't work at all networks... example in GRnet (or other networks) it's an Unknown Mode FLag

  • is it x or +x at the end of the command?

  • use +x

  • Perform just run the code in Perform when you connect to IRC. There's no way you hide your IP unless you connect to another computer with another IP.

  • i tried this just to make sure, i was right first time, this is BS!

  • i know, too many know-it-alls, they should not provide false information on how to do things

  • Plus... +x only works if the nework/IRCd software supports it otherwise mode +x is pointless.

  • this doesn't hide your IP. when you right click on your username and click info ur ip will still be shown.
