  • No slushies here, but I have been teased relentlessly and had underwear pulled over my head in gym class. As a short, overweight kid with big glasses, good grades, not good at sports, who didn’t make friends easily, played piano, and sang in choir, high school wasn't a pleasant experience. But looking back as an adult it made me a stronger individual and it made me more outgoing. What this shy kid has learned is that most of us are really more alike than different. We just don't realize it then.

  • That was so unexpected! I seriously cannot stop laughing!!

  • well, so far so good.

i'm 16 years old, and resently discovered that I'm gay,

all my friends are really cool about it. (most of them know).

But I'm still afraid that the people who aren't so accepting in my class are not gone be so easy about it. Also, my dad doesn't know... my mom did and she's cool with it as well.

So far I hadn't had any bad thing happened. I'm sure someday it will, but I always have my friends, I'm so grateful:D. Thanks for being you!

  • OMG you just got a Slushie Facial! WOW! and Great Vids thus far i just found this Channel! It is amazing!

  • XD

  • I'm still in High school and I realised I was gay about a year ago. I was bullied for two years by the same guy and it really hurt me badly. But, like you said in the video, it helped me to be stronger. Most of my friends now I am gay, my parents too and more and more, as the time go,I think that as we learn to accept the fact that we are different then other people and the shame go. My high school experience, in brief, was a bit hard, yes but it helped me, to be stronger. Good video by the way!

  • My friend has two moms and both his brothers are gay, and luckly he hasn't been bullied

  • LMFAOOO!!! great ending!!! NICE SHOT JAY! And i'm still in high school, and my experience so far is pretty great. My freshman year i was still in the closet and still dating girls, but i still had a great time. i made my name as "the singer", the little stepper and a cute little jokester. And i was friends with everybody. I am a sophmore now, and i am just now coming out and its going good. I'm even more known and even more successful. what was it like for jay???

  • I dropped out and got my GED at 10th grade. I was missing a lot of classes. I used to go to school in the morning, sneak out on 3rd period, then just ride the NYC train system or hang out alone at prospect and central parks with the sci-fi and fantasy books I'd get from the library.Gay was for me something to escape from.In the 80's,Aids came out, I saw Al Pacino's gay movie Cruisin, and Boy George was a Heroin addict. Gay in the Latino comm. was unmanly an evil.I was told my eyes gave me away.

  • I jump on 4:10 lol

  • I'm still in high school and I made the mistake of going to a religion school when I'm an flamboyant homosexual xD. The only problems I have are from the guys (I really hate 99.99% of straight men.. Tools.) and the principal saying I can't wear eye makeup... But I have a lot of support. :)

  • I know the music that is in the transitions from somewhere but I can't put my finger on it... Lol this is really bugging me!

  • The ending was kind of harsh but it was sooooo FUNNY lol. The color of drink matched with ur shirt and u still looked hot with the red liquid(?) :)

  • You make such a hot nerd...loved the Glee moment at the end. All the muscles...Jay you are hilarious...lol.

  • I LOVE it. it's like GLEE :)

  • Ur husband is annoying, he seems likr a guy who will hve a mental meltdown and go crazy like my french teacher.lol

  • @richardb2837 WHAT DID YOU SAY YOU ******* **** Ok now that I got that melt down out of the way....Sorry you feel that way...Was your French Teacher at least hot??? Bryans annoying husband.

  • @AGayCollab umm he is muscular but like a 6 out of 10 on face.... ha why are u responding, i expected bryans response, but its ok.

  • @richardb2837 How is he annoying!? You need a slushy in your face lol.

  • @Sebizzar just is....

  • @richardb2837 Erm ok... maybe you're jealous lol

  • @Sebizzar umm no im not, and theres no logical reason to be jealous, ur stupid as fuck

  • @richardb2837 LOL wow, first of all, there are logical reasons to be jealous, for example you like Bryan & are jealous that Jay's married to him. Second, how am I a stupid fuck exactly? I'd say you are, since you can't type correctly & insult people like a little kid.

  • @Sebizzar wow,ur full of urself, i dont want to be married for a very long time. ur funny. your dumb ass thinks i want to be married to bryan, i outta punch you in the head...ur tupid as fuck. im a teen so yeah, i dont look for that for a very long time..

  • @richardb2837 That was an EXAMPLE of jealousy. And, whoa no way, you want to punch me, what a tough e-thug you are! Like I said you're acting like a little kid & only throwing juvenile insults to me like that's going to justify anything. The point was you couldn't give a reason why you think Jay is "annoying" & then you got defensive when I said you may be jealous, which now makes me think you really are.

  • @Sebizzar bitch im only telling you this beause your not so smart. wow ur on the internet to much e-thugh? eww you need to get a life, how am i actring like a little kid, your the one who responded to me, and your defending jay cuz you like him. haha ur the jelaous won.lmao ur funny. so its you who likes him....haha ur funny. and i bet your some old ass pedophile!

  • @richardb2837 Wow, ok little punk, go on & continue being immature, i'm done with you.

  • @Sebizzar wow, ur probably a queen, the one in the gay community who we despise.

  • @richardb2837 LOL! I can honestly say that jay was born after his mental meltdown, he's been crazy since birth, same for bryan, thats why we love them and wouldnt have them any other way! :)

  • I love you guys! Bryan my high school experience was the same as yours except I kept good grades, mainly because schoolwork was the only thing I felt I'd be accepted in & I was. Only had 1 good friend but I was cool with lots of people & they liked me. But, I never dated & rarely had a social life outside of school because I felt alone. I didn't get bullied but I still felt I couldn't do things out of fear. The only ppl who called me a F* or a "girl" was family. Needless to say I was shy...sad..

  • My highschool [ just graduated this previous year ] i was dead center of a lot of attention [ most of it good ] but i struggled because i was afraid to try so i just coasted as low as i could , i was slightly popular and well known at the school being the center of a lot of parties because i am talented with raving [glowstringing shuffling tecktonik ] basically if it goes with electronic music i can do it i would have been great for me if i wasn't depressed .. I was completely out for 2 years

  • That HAD to be annoying! Uh did it go up your nose? It's like in glee, hahah I was not expecting that =D. My high school experience was ok I guess, I don't remember if they talked about homosexuality during health class and gay bashing wasnt the order of the day but I cant remeber, I live in a city so maybe thats why.

  • That last part was awesome! I really want a slushy now.

  • my hs experience was a lot like yours. i was the shy quiet nerd kid lol. i was called the f word a couple times, but it wasn't terriblee compared to other people's stories. i started coming out my senior year and was lucky to have supportive friends. i think a person's experience depends a lot on school/ location

  • (as Gay) it could cost you your life !.Very Dark Days .the Straight people even beat up each other I`m 50+ and we have been at WAR with somebody for most of my life.

It`s like the Twilight Zone. But It Has Gotten a lot better, for the lgbt Folks So hang in there for me on a personally It`s SO MUCH BETTER.I went though some hard times ,I`m so glad I made it. "this channel " is something to look forward to everyday seeing ,the world change before are very eye`s.

  • Well I will come over for punch and you can talk about star wars if you want I think I have only ever watched one and that was the first one lol Yeah it for sure needs to be better lots more work to be done because there is still alot of hurt out there, And when I was in school being gay was for sure not really talked about unless you were being called it. Or people beating someone up because of it. And haha he wrote that part in about the nerd for the video huh? lol

  • let's hang out and drink punch

  • My high school experience mirrored yours. I knew I was gay in hs but I didn't really date. I was known as the smart kid in school though and people did think I was gay and they did tell me, but I ended up denying it. I was very depressed later on in HS and wouldn't have wished my exp on anyone even though it wasn't the worst

  • Aww now Jays all mad at me! lol I'm just kidding. I can't think of any other guy that Bryan would let throw stuff in his face

  • You must really love your husband to let him slushie you!

  • where is the easter egg at the end of the vidoe....

  • Hey Bryan, McDonald's started Star Wars toys for our boy's Happy Meals this week at McDonald's. At least in the Midwest. Probably in your neck of the woods, too. Right now we have 2 light sabers: one that extends and one that lights up. We also have a cute Yoda that's coming. FYI.

  • OMG I have never been slushied in my life, I didn't know it was a "thing". LOL

  • Thanks for sharing your highschool experience Bryan, I guess at the end of day what really matters is what 'you' want to do for yourself, because others wouldn't take responsibility for your own life (well there are exceptions haha --- I mean the douche who likes to throw slurpee, lol good one). My opinion is the sense of 'self' is a priority, i.e. to understand 'yourself', your fear etc.

  • I went to a fundamental, Christian, private school at which my parents were teachers. The school taught k through 12 and had about 150 students. I had a senior class of 4 and 3 of us were ralated.

I think that, pretty much, sums up how"positive" my education was.

I really enjoy the positive voice the 2 of you, and your family, bring to being gay. There are still days I have issues with accepting myself, and with how, I believe, others perceive me. You are SUCH an inspiration! Many Thanks!

  • I went to high school in the quasi-diverse, middle-class suburbs of a big metropolitan city. While our neighbourhood and school weren't exactly a liberal centre, it wasn't really very conservative either. People occasionally used gay slang words in a negative way, but I would say that overall my classmates were passively indifferent to LGBT issues. This made the experience of coming out somewhat easier. I'll never forget my grade 11 math teacher who always emphasized that "all people are equal."

  • Shy guy in high school? Not hanging nerds? Not fiting into much high school cliques? Sounds like me in high school! Thank God thats over! I was never out in high school but my school probably would have been a safe place to do that if I had. There was a trans kid in my school and the administration would not tolerate harassment(well as far as I know, did not know the person well) The school even let her graduate on the girls side.

  • Because NOBODY commented on my comment and I really need attention, this is my second go....LOL. NO, I watched this vid again and it reminded me, that I never got to thank Depfox, GayComicGeek, JoshRimer, Blair and ExplorationB for being real, non-artificial, funny, geeky and just yourselfs!! You have no idea ( or maybe you do) how important your posts and messages are for other people all around the world! You guys are pioneers in a this world wide medium!

  • Oh GEEZ!!! I can't believe you got slushied! I had to watch that twice! I'm sorry, but I was laughing so hard! It jus took me by surprise. great video Bryan

  • Your just awsome, who care what other people say. Just keep doing what your doing :)

  • Im currently in high school and ive told pretty much eveeryone. So far no one has rejected me because of my sexuality. I think ive had it easy...

  • I can say that my high school time was a good experience, saying the word 'gay' was taboo, so gays never existed, therefore i never existed as a gay high school student. I learned to live as a fake straight tho, however never fit completely if you ask. However, I always tried to live a life without being identified as gay or straight... it was only between me and me... I enjoyed everything else so far

  • The ending was so epic! Hahahaha, love both of you guys (B&J) and all the Gay Collab! :)

  • Having gay parents made high school a little strange but then i started to get into music and fashion and that so how landed me in with the cool kids lol. But i always played the outcast and loner with my huge 80's hair and tight jeans

  • love the vid!!!! hope u only did one shot of the slushie toss!!!!!

  • I am still in my high school, and it's going to be my last year of high school. People here seems to be ok with lesbians rather than gay guys and there are more openly gay les but no openly gay guys. Ppl here seldom talk about gay things but they usually say "oh that's sissy, that's gay" ... and there are no openly gay guys but girls in my school. So I am not willing to be the 1st one cuz I don't reli know if ppl are ok with that. Anyhow, its my last year, so coming out is not necessary.

  • I was pretty much a loner... During most of high school I was in that "self-hate" and paranoia phase so I pushed people away. I don't have any friends now but it's ok, my subscription vids keep me company :) (OMG that's so depressing I'm gonna get a cat or something LOL)

  • haha, is there any retake or rehearsal for that last scene? :D

  • I was the only openly gay kid in a high school of 1500 in somewhat rural colorado in the early 90s. It was a problem, I was teased, i was assaulted. But years later I ran into some people I knew from high school who had come out after they graduated and were grateful to me for making it and giving them hope. So it was worth it.

  • Can I have some punch?

  • Cutest Nerd EVER

  • gay was never address in my schools either the only thing was to stop the use of the word gay (neg meaning) and faggot and other words like that

  • I was part of the smart and nerdy group. Everyone would call people gay whenever they wanted to ridicule, so being gay was not connected to anything positive at all. For me it wasn't the occasional and accidental remark, I wasn't out until college, it was all the self-inflicted repression of emotion the repercussions associated with it. Needless to say, High School was no party. As for same-sex ed... thank god for all the resources online.

  • @depfox Ya, but I really hope that my parents don't find out or i'll be so screwed. They are religous and they would kick me out (after the excorsist, the camp, and the shunning). Gonna tell them when I am half way finished toward my MD because I will NEED their money, is it that bad that o feel like i am using them? :(. Anyway, it is easier now, i am 100% happy that I came out to my friends, this year I will tell more friends! :) Enjoy your summer!!

  • You two are adorable and hilarious!

In high school gay wasn't good but wasn't bad either. We had an openly gay band teacher but nobody cared. Glad high school is over and I'm out and proud

  • o....m.....g NERD!!! roflcakes!!!!

  • OMFG I LAUGHED MY ASS OFF AT JAY THROWING THE DRINK!!!!!

  • omg this was a gr8 vid...as usual gr8 bryday....I was bullied at school mainly primary school, college (which is high School here in kiwiland) I was in different groups I loved reading so was in the library all the time & when I wasnt I hung out with the bad crowd smoking, drinking etc...so I didnt fit in with one particular group I had different friends depending on how I felt.....

    Bella

  • bad memory in high school...hate it

  • Oh snap! Imma go all Lima Heights on Jay for throwing that sluchy all upon Bryan's grill!! (Santana from Glee reference) haha

  • I lived a somewhat sheltered life in rural Ohio; I honestly thought that "fags" were imaginary, a stock insult and nothing more. Just to give you an idea of how old I am, I was a member of the Class of 1980. I was not a "Joiner", but I was an outspoken defender of Right, and the terror of the debate teacher.

  • too cute!

  • HAHAHA, That was really good Bryan. The beginning was really funny but Jay had me laughing out loud at the end. :-)

  • This describes my whole high school career. In middle school I had many friends, but by high school, they had found their place, yet I was still searching for mine, not fully knowing if I was gay or not and fighting with religion to make sure I wasn't. Thanks Bryan for another great vid. Funny Jay!

  • Nice ending XD !

  • That was FANTASTIC! Totally did not see that coming. AHAHAHHA

  • LMAO!! Loved the slushy @ the end

  • OMG That is so Great!!!! You guys crack me up!!!! Keep up the great Video's!!!!!!!!!! Seems I can't wait for the next one!!!

  • Hey we grew up in the same kind of world.

All I heard was being gay/fag was not good, and for a short fat kid that was very easy to pick on.

Date? what is that, never been on one that I can think of.

  • for most of my highschool experencew iwas a loner i was at one point populsar but looking backmon beingpopular i just found it a really big choir and i was still not out yet i date girls in highschool but it never really developed in to anything else

  • Ya got slushied! Now to break out into song. And Richard Marx was HOT! LOL!

  • I love how I come home from work and HAVE to watch daily every VidPost. So entertaining, educating and just plain awesome. Love you guys.

  • Jay your husband must really love you I would beat down someone that threw a slushy in my face...unless it was you because of your hand to hand training. I have had more problems with my family because of my sexual orientation than I have had with my school. I don't label with any cliques because I feel that you limit yourself when you define yourself as souly per say "the nerd". I am respected by my teachers, admin, & peers. My school has a GSA with 147 members were pretty gay friendly.

  • I was so deep in the closet in high school that I was the one who was the bully to the gay kids.

It's something I will regret for the rest of my life but I do what I can now that I am out to make amends.

  • I bet Jay was sooooo excited to throw that slushy in your face xD

  • Slushie in the face!!

  • I really look forward to the videos on this channel. Thought it was Josh at first who slushied you.

  • Bet the slushi tasted good HoT nEaRd

  • I had to quit high school and attend online.

  • I don't think many people cared about gays maybe the "regulars" were more ghetto in that aspect and hated them while the AP's and Honors didn't as much but I don't know I was mainly a loner and avoided any sort of interaction that was given to me.

  • My last couple years of high school, there were gays running around all over the place. There was loads of support there, from students to teachers. Of course, there was also one time where a kid had a 20-minute discussion with a teacher about how he hated and was willing to attack gays at any time. He wasn't aware I was there, basically laughing at him. I was already out, so everybody kept glancing at me the whole time. lol

  • The ending caught me by surprise! LOL!!! Good stuff.

  • The only person who knows I'm gay is My brother and I plan to fully come out when I'm in college staring this fall and when I'm on my own if my family finds out so be it ...I'm afraid that if I make a YouTube video someone will notice me and call me out ...one day I'll make one ;)

  • Well I just graduated high school ...and trust me gays were bashed so I taught myself how to sound and look straight my friends will call feminine boy fags it was crazy ..and the kids got really mad when 2 freshman were having sex in the boys bathroom I wish any of you reading this would of heard the things they were going to them.. that's not the worse part I had a class of current events and we talked about gay issues I was the only on who stood for gay right ..Im still not out to my friends

  • @frankyg92g Wow...that sounds like some pretty intense experiences there franky : /

    Bryan

  • Hi Bryan, I pretty much had the same or close to experience at school as you. I was in no click and had just a couple of friends out of 1000 students. NO one talked about anything gay unless it was to bully me or someone else they thought might be gay. It was an extremely rough and disappointing time. I hated school soo much. I’m very glad your kids are growing up in a very different world and I commend you and Jay. ~Russ

  • LOVE the glee reference! You guys are so cute lol

  • Comment removed

  • I'm only about half way through my high school experience an so far it's been amazing, I think getting involved in school has helped me a lot with my shyness, but in regards to gay issues at my school, my school is indifferent about it, they don't tolerate hate but they don't have anything to really support anyone Lgbt but my school is a pretty safe environment

  • Gay was not discussed in my School , I was alone, I really liked your hair in the beginning !

The ending of this was funny !

  • Ooh ooh me me!! Lets hang out Bryan! lol! I dont really like star wars but we can have punch!

  • I was pretty detached from school most of the time, Most of my memories of HS are not pleasant. (mostly my first few bouts of suicidal depression) There was not much of anything at all about gay in school (even though I live in a very liberal collage town) I do remember being made fun of because others thought I might be gay. I also remember that there was a GSA for one year that did not survive especial after the yearbook committee refused to include it in the year book.

  • That last part was truly a surprise. I jumped a bit when Jay splashed punch on Bryan's face and it took me a second to realize it had to be a joke and start laughing. That was precious! You both have such a great imagination and creativity. That will later prove to be a blessing as your children will definitely be influenced by your creativity! Thanks for being there for the community and thanks for taking good care of your beautiful boy and girl and let us see some of it thru a YT window!!!

  • @lexZender57732

    Thanks lex! :)

    Bry

  • I loved that beginning! Loved the Star Wars shirt and that ending was so classic! I wanna be slushied. (Go Glee for making that popular again)

  • @GayComicGeek Oh I got a slusie withy our name on it ;O)

    Jay

  • @AGayCollab Do it.. do it.. lol @GayComicGeek Now you better watch what you wish for ; ). lol luv you guys kick ass, live long, have fun.

  • @GayComicGeek No...you don't wanna be slushied. Now that I have done It I can tell you that my face felt like it was gonna freeze off and the red dye in those things does not come off easy...lol.

    Bry

  • Lol who was the drink thrower? Jay?

  • @TeachersPet42 Ummm you couldnt tell by all the muscles????

    Jay

  • My experience was actually a mostly positive one. I grew up in a community that was accepting of gays. When I came out in 9th grade nothing changed between me and my friends, sure they were a bit surprised because I have always been straight acting. There were a few people that called me "fag" or "homo" but it didn't bother me that much. I would usually come back with "congratulations, now when you learn to count to 10 you can go to Harvard!"

  • I was rather detached from High School, actually kinda like you were, Brian. But I got the feeling that the school had a dichotomy of people who cared whether somebody is gay or not. Other than that, there was nothing to resembled gay sex-ed during my school time. My school years 1993-2006.

  • My experinece! Being gay was ALWAYS a bad thing! I remeber when I fist began recognising my feelings toward other men/boys and I jsut wanted God to kill me right then and there.

I would have assumed that you were the geek like you portrayed at the opening. And if you were I would have been hanging around with you! Because, YES, I am that geeky and nerdy!

And I wasn't expecting that ending! WOW! You are awesome! Keep up the great videos! - David L.

  • Never again will I be reading the comments before the video is over. It ruins the surprise.

  • OMG Richard Marx.

  • Omg Brian you used my picture. I'm gonna kick you in your patooty lol. *shy guy*

  • @Anaprince I dont think guys have a "Patooty"

  • @AGayCollab Then your man patooty. What say you? :)

  • @AGayCollab I thought about it and that just sounds creeperish lol. Not meant that way :D

  • I'm glad your kids don't have a hard time because they have two dads. LOL at the end, Jay should make more appearances in your collab videos :)

  • Comment removed

  • I bet Jay had a lot of fun throwing that stuff!! Nice Vid!

  • The usual. Gay and bad meaning!

  • @AtTheEnd1000 UMMMM Not sure what that means or what you are smoking....But Gay = Happy, Sexy, Hot , Good & Sweet...Is that what you ment.

    Jay

  • Comment removed

  • @AGayCollab I meant to say, that in my school days everything bad, was gay (in a way)!

I hope you get me. Ammm... And I don't smoke or drink so... And I'm gay, so i think i wouldn't speak badly about it (myself)! :D

  • How old are your kids? It could get worse in middle or high school as that's when most people understand what's going on and start to show their dislike of homosexuality. Wish people could be more accepting, but there are so many other things that people don't accept other for, such as, geek, emo/goth, different religion/ethnicity, etc. Hopefully one day this can change.

  • @gmh87 10 & 6 we are lucky we live in an area of CA that is very open to diversity...My kids have several kids in their school with gay parents...I hope that if any one ever decides to attack them for that they can turn it around on them.

  • @AGayCollab Fighting hate with more hate is never good? It's about tolerance. You can't ever expect to be tolerated and accepted if you show that you are just as bad as they say. Never go down to their level, it'll just make things worse. I hope that you won't have to find out, but just expect the unexpected, hate can come from anywhere.

  • ahahaha that made my day i love bully jay you should include your husband more in you video ^_^

  • Bryan, I adore you and Jay, but right now that's totally overshadowed by my love for your luscious hydrangea! It's so healthy! and the color set against the green is simply striking!

  • I went to high school in a really small town and no one even mentioned the word gay. We had people we knew were gay...we just didn't talk about it. Stay sweet <3

  • It's great that your kids don't get bullied for having two dads, that's something I'd be really very anxious about if I had kids. Pretty much nothing to do with homosexuality was taught in our school, but I certainly never got the feeling there was any anti-gay sorta thing going on there. Although I heard something about an ex-headmaster, and he got fired for it. It always seems the shy nerdy guys are the nicest kind of guys :). 4:10 owned sir! I'm sure Jay didn't enjoy that one bit now ;)

  • noticed that bryan didnt lose the composure the end though he knew ahead of time that punch would be splashed at him.. that'd be suck to make two or three takes on the last part. :-) loves the shirts that Bryan was wearing thruout the shoot.

  • @Carimed2017 LOL Bryan would only allow me to do that once and get away with it

    jay

  • My high school years were 4 years I won't miss. Back then the bullies targeted, severely, kids that were against the VietNam war that was raging. MLK had been murdered resulting in several days of extreme racial tension, fights, and a bomb threat. I stuck to myself, my books and art. As I recall, the 'gay thing' never came up but it was a LONG four years just the same

  • hah, bryan your videos are funny! the ending when jay just threw the drink at you and called you a nerd HAHAHAH <3 i love you guys, hope you and the fam are well :)

  • Well gay-education didn' exist in my highschool time. If you were, acted or seemed gay, you were teased and joked at all times allmost to the extend of getting beaten up or slapped. Because I was too much of a nerd, no one suspected that I'm gay. But in the last year at school I came out to my friends and that functions like a wildfire. But going through this and surviving it, made me more confident and strong. so It gets better and I'm very happy gay education does exist now at some places.

  • Haha, that ending was awesome! Too funny guys. :-D

  • lol the ending was very funny I love your videos

  • @LepidusUri22 I loved the thrawn trilogy...I hope you enjoy it too. So many of the Star Wars novels go over the top to create new challenges for the Star Wars heros, the Thrawn trilogy actually felt like it was more plausible.

    Bryan

  • Bryan that was really Great! Excellent message as always. BTW, what flavor was that you got hit on your face? LMAO.

  • @osky1416 I don't really know because I almost froze my face off : /

    Bryan

  • In high school, noone ever mentionned anything about anyone being gay, especially me. Wouldn't have been too bad, but I was the one trying to hide myself. In university, people wouldn't have given a damn shit about it x) still me hiding from myself.

All in all, nothing to report =P And you're right : some things never change hahaha !!

  • Well, being a Junior next year in High School and telling four of my closest friends that I'm gay, they did not seem to care that I was gay at all. I actually hung out with the "gay" kids. At lunch, they hang out and I would join them, and they were all nice and nothing like I was lead to believe by my parents. I am happy that I told them, but still a bit..scared I guess? Not really, just that my heart beats a bit faster when they are talking about gay issues, is that bad? Enjoy your Day! :)

  • @PsychoJerk810 Good for you I bet your senior year will be a billion times moore fun now that you arnt hiding from others

  • thumbs up if you replayed Bryans face getting wet

  • It wasn't discussed much either way, it was always out on the west coast or New York that you heard about Gays, not in the Midwest. I just learned to fight at an early age, as a source of survival.

  • When I was a freshman in HS English class we were discussing the author Oscar Wilde and my teacher said that he was a "H O M O S E X U A L" My face turned BEET RED!!!!

    You guys crack me up!!!!!!

    Jim

  • your high school sounded a lot like mine. I'm also jealous of your hair.

  • I remember hearing somebody call another person gay only once or twice in high school, because a boy was wearing tight pants. A couple people were pretty homophobic, but my high school overall was quite gay-supportive.

The most popular guy in my high school was gay. Now he goes to my college, and he continues to be insanely popular.

My middle schools were a different story.

  • OMG I HAVE THAT SHIRT LOL BRYAN!!!! Love this video u both r cuties as usual

  • OH NO! The ENDING! I did not expect that...

  • mmmhhh...the nerd look kinda sits on you!! You're welcome! LOL

When I came out in school it was like:

    Everybody: " blablablablablablabla"

Me: 'hey...I got to tell you something....I'm gay'

Everybody : 'oh, ok dude' 'blablablablablablabla'

It has never been such a big issue here in the Netherlands mainly because we have (or need I say had) a very open society towards 'alternative lifestyles'(ugh I really hate that expression!!).

  • I was totally not ready for that ending! I sprayed my computer screen with coffee!

Don't forget Jay, Nerds will have their revenge. :P

  • @HippyFreakPeace Hahaha...I guess I should have issued a class two beverage alert at the beginning of the video! lol...sorry about your monitor.

    Bryan

  • Lol, I was homeschooled here so heard all about gay issues from parents. Mostly told me it was bad and such (you know the usual stuff lol).

  • My high school is pretty hush hush about gay people if your gay and they know ur time there will b HELL:( it sucks that it's like that.. Fortunate for me I'm not "noticeably gay" so I don't get made fun of

  • I was so happy when Bryan asked me to be in this weeks video...This AGAYCOLLAB Click are a ruff bunch and it was nice to toss a slurpee in one of their faces...My new goal in life is to Slushee all 5 of them....Hmmm Im thinking Josh is next...

    Jay

  • I would have been your friend in high school. Even if you were a Star Wars geek. :) Good one Jay! LOL

  • awww... come on, Jay! cute husbands don't do that to cute husbands XD but it's interesting though o_o.... high school~~ is my life right now! i'm in grade 11 going 12 next year. probably because i live in Canada (not sure), my high school life (right now) is not that bad :))! it's actually kinda awesome XD i have tonnes of female friends and all kinds of people are asking me to go to the gay pride parade with them which is last week. But still, i'm looking forward to the future (when i'm 19..XD)

    Jay

  • haha the ending made me lol, yeah i love all your videos, it helped me realize that it is possible to be gay and having a loving family too. yay for bryan and jay =)

  • hahah, don't you have a picture from high school with that hair?? hahaha. I'm so happy that Daniel and Selena don't get "bugged" about haveing gay dads. I always wonder about that and how to deal with it if it does happen. Have you ever had an instance like that before? OMG, the slushie part was hilarious!!! Yeah Gleeks! Are you a Gleek? I am.
