  • How do you create a SUPERCRITICALITY of stupid ? Take one part Christian, one part Republican, and one part Texan. The combined ultra-super-hyper-stupidity goes supercritical.

  • To view the map go to the Texas Legislative council website, click on TEXAS REDISTRICTING, then MAPS AND REPORTS, then click on DISTRICT VIEWER, then SELECT PLANS, then BASE PLAN, Then, Select "PLAN H212 REP. CAIN STATEWIDE SUBSTITUTE CSHB 150."

  • I would also like to see side by side maps of the redistricting plan.

  • I would also like to see side by side maps of the redistricting plan. Mr. Nixon said something about the voting rights acts allowing you to protect existing legislators. That doesn't sound like what a fairly designed map should be designed to do. Don't we want to eliminate Gerry Mandering?

I'd like to see a conservative Republican majority too, but I don't think that they should be using the same tactics as the left..

  • Would like to see a side-by-side of the maps with district population numbers. I hear what is being said, but it's all kind of abstract without seeing the maps and comparing them. Is there a link to both?

  • My understanding is that the Redistricting Committee Map would produce approxi-

mately only 82 Republicans, denying Republicans the power given to them in the last election by WE, THE PEOPLE OF TEXAS! And that ain't Kosher!

  • @512Bruster

I understand that areas with increased populations (such as Williamson Co.) are entitled to an increased number of representatives. Some splitting of current districts must occur.
