  • @ani1616 Venezuela is mixed cultures within african, indian and white (mostly by spaniards)...We are not ashamed of any of it. Also Venezuela is like the only country who allows any culture to live there without the discrimination.

  • I'm of Venezuela. Greetings

  • But also, some of it is indian too.

  • YES THIS MUSIC IS AFRICAN. Along with the slaves brought to venezuela came our music also. This is a typical sounding rhythm in Africa. Also the dance. It sure didn't come from europe or the natives. We always have taken our music everywhere we go, we never leave africa and abandon our culture. Its innate and hard to uproot out of us. But much love to the african venezuelans keepin our culture there ALIVE!

  • Lotanna thanks for your comments. We not only keep this music alive but are also very proud of it...<br>

    Take care!!!

  • @candyforstrangers Bravo to Venezuela for its rich cultural heritage--African, indigenous, and Spanish! -From a North American
