The real life Thunderbirds. Got a problem? Call Mammoet. Seriously cool company, at least you got some stories to tell when you get home from work. How was work today, honey? Oh, installed an oilrig today, nothing much really. What's for dinner? Hmmmm.... this or a desk job?
I wish I could be a trucker in mamoet. They used to be a client in my trucking company. Maybe after I get more experience with oversized loads. I can qualify. It is an honor to move those gigantic loads that mamoet has.
Wouldn't it be cheaper to build the tower on the ship using small cranes, as opposed to paying several hundred thousands of dollars to use one really big crane?
MSG(Mammoet Sliding Gantry) got 2, MSG50(4000ton cpct) & MSG80(3600cpct). But they then upgrade MSG50 to double-stack boom with 4700ton capacity and change it name to MSG80 too. MSG80-1(4700 ton) MSG80-2(3600 ton).i know this all bcz MSG 1-2 crew from Malaysia are all my collegue and Im proud to be one of the mammoet family member. Adios.
The crawlers are awesome to watch in person. They are using them on the expansion project at the petro refinery I work for. The crawlers are carrying loads larger and heavier than a brick house, and they do so with the ease I have picking up a pencil. These are some awesome machines!
I wonna work @ Mammoet! It's just amazing these times that they have equipement that can lift 3070 tonnes (Mammoet MSG 80) (!!), i mean we think, "a jeep wheights 2 tonnes it's not nice to be overdriven by one!", but damn they have cranes that weights 1500 tonnes+ and that can lift over 2500 tonnes!!!!
cool thing isn't it? that a small country like the netherlands is active all around the world. they are needed for huge things on the sea as well as moving things on road... proud to be dutch

5up3rAIN002 3 years ago
PTC is designed and build by Mammoet and Huisman-Itrec. MSG-50 was designed by "old" Mammoet and was upgraded at the current Mammoet

Vooral sec. 7 is goed! De aandachtige kijker merkt dat ook Mammoet af en toe eens degeljik materiaal moet huren bij de concurrentie :-)

These guys are amazing. I didn't even know a crane as big as that last one even existed! That thing must be able to pick up over 10 million pounds!
