You're lucky bro, I got hassled by cops all the fucking time in SF, especially near GG park, inner sunset and inner richmond. And outer sunset and up/down market st. I was running an MIVV w/o the dbkiller with stock headers and no computer mods. Safety first though. Loud really is better, I'd rather pay fix-it tickets than get run over by some bitch on her cell phone.
i finally got my fix it ticket haha i got a yoshi trc...sounds alot cleaner...was a matter of time...i sold my pipe though i put it on like 2 times again i got tempted >_<.

hey man im so confused...and can i ask what tools you use to remove your headers? im sure i need to get a few things...i have the headers here by friday and i wanna get them off tomorrow! thanks for the help!
@jabop race headers eliminate cat. i was wondering if its a direct bolt on? or do you have to weld it on and cut with saw to fit. I know thats the case if you were to use the mid pipe, theres cutting with a saw and shaping it to fit.. seems like too much work. I'm thinkin the race headers might be an easier way for perfect fitment without the cutting off the cat and pulling out the saw?
@jabop +1 on MJS headers. Theyre the stock yamaha headers without the combs and with the catbox cut off and ypipe welded in. If you cant weld (like me) just buy it. Its still cheaper than any aftermarket headers and I had it with an M4gp pipe and it sounded amazeballs
