Hey bud do u leave the sim card in it or take it out... I bought my iPhone 3Gs from bell locked to them , I want to still use bells simcard but need to know if I can unlock it so a Roger ,Fido ,t-mobile sim works in it

im sure there are other people out there in a similar or same position as i am, but im not getting any clear answers lol.

i had an ipod touch 3rd gen 32gb and so close to updating it to the newest apple 4 os. If i was too update it now, would that not allow me from jailbreaking my device once a jailbreak is released? Would there be a significant difference/problem from updating it now, then jailbreaking the device once a jailbreak is released?

@kevvvtube just stay as you are as you might only be able to do it if pre-jailbroken at 3.1.2 or 3.1.3

@bhussain91 i believe that the spirit jaibreak works for 3gs. i could be wrong though. it doesnt unlock it though which is why you would need to use the method used in the vid.

@bhussain91 i dont believe there is a jailbreak for 4.0 yet or itunes 9.2 (u need 9.2 to upgrade to 4.0)
