I don't claim to understand the underlying tribal tensions not being part of it myself, however, in my humble opinion a solution can only be achieved once people start thinking as Kenyans rather than Luo, Kikuyu, Kisii etc. I am sad to see that as everywhere in the world the battle is fought on the back of the ordinary man, woman and child.
The major problem Kenya now is the criminals who have taken advantage of the situation. You see Luos stealing and looting from Luo's in Kisumu, and you see Kikuyus stealing and looting from Kikuyu's in Nairobi. I think the policy of "shoot to kill" is therefore justified to maintain order.
You stage an economic demonstration as declared by Raila after the street demonstrations, your sister or brother looses their job.Who suffers? your children. Guess what Railas children are watching you on TV from the UK as you dig your own hole to poverty.Doesnt common sense apply any more ??? Wake up people!!!!!!!
I dont get what you are saying. Are you going to confidently vote in 2012 if these guys do not succeed? If they don't we may as well say bye to democracy in Kenya. For me I know that democracy is more important for Kenya than dictatorship. I voted for Kibaki but he did not win. What he did is wrong and this time around if they are to have a re-run, I will vote for the opposition.
Raila when will you stop pointing figures and accept that you are to blame. You are willing for people to die, so that you can move to power. Shame on you too Raila .Shame on you too. There blood is also in your hands.
i see stealing runs in ur blood so much the u dont even realise when something has been stolen from u....nyinyi wote wakikuyu wezu will have ur asses scotched in hell
sisi wakikuyu do know when things have been stolen from us. like our freedom to make a living peacefully anywhere in Kenya. kisumu and eldoret is hell for us. may all those idiots/thugs/ODM hooligans go to hell!
the same thief you protect is the very same one that will still from u unless u do something. i hope u live to witness this. its not about who from which tribe wins, but how genuine is he. if kibaki really did win he would not have had a problem with a recount or anything of that sort... am supprised that even after all those testimonies of theft even by the eck you still support the thief
Kll a child and the rest and tell me u are the law enforcement team. well i guess we need to recruit new ppl with ethics. if u can agree to kill for a HALF A LOAF of bread and DILLUTED orange drink for lunch, then u sure is a pathetic looser!! and fellas our criminal "govt" by authorising all this to happen has proven to us how much they dont care bout the rest of us who dont live in mansions, and dont have drivers..at this point everyone for her/himself GOD for us all. BUT JUSTICE FOR ALL
I like the video for some of us who are far it helps us know what is happening. raila did not kill the thirtenn year old salim yesterday. his only mistake is that we voted for him and some people did not like it. what is wrong with contesting and winning elections. kenya is for all of us and power is for all of us. kenyans decide whom to elect and nobody should decide for us. we want justice
VideoAceuk, All the cities are affected, Kisumu and Kibera are the worst because they are Hon. Railas stronghold and that is why Mr Kibaki's government is doing much destruction in these areas. What more evidence would one need after that live execution by the police in Kisumu? Now is the time for the international world to intervene!
I like watching aljazeera but currently not very happy with the way they are reporting on news fron the current political crisis in Kenya. They should be fair on all sides. One day they will come to know its actually Raila and his people who were behind all these massacres. Why is it that its only Kisumu and Kibera that are being affected.
Why indeed. Considering the government has holds on all the Kenyan stations right now, I would think Aljazeera is pretty much doing a good job telling it the real way, and not the censored way the government wants it to reach the citizens. Of all the crazy things the government can come up with, I must admit the excuse the police gave yesterday in relation to the policeman caught on camera shooting and killing an unarmed man tops it up!
who are we kidding??..this is all raila's doing..this shit keeps him going..he is an attention seeking media whore warlord of a man..if he is a man..
real men don't pull this kind of shit...
fighting for democracy..MY ASS! tribal clashes..ppl dying in a church Rwanda style..yah! democracy..thats right!....

The country is at across-roads because of the lack of leadership. The solution lays in getting rid of kibaki.
