  • stupid fat guy

  • @LiveLongboard Who's stupid? ;-)

  • @wake9tv jk, nice boat btw haha. How long when ur surfing behind the boat does it take for the CO to hurt you? And is it bad that when i surf i frequently get within touching distance of the boat?

  • @LiveLongboard Search or videos for the video we did on Carbon Monoxide. It will answer all of your questions, or hopefully most of them.

  • @wake9tv Well i did watch it and it did not give me that info, thats why i came here to ask:)

  • @LiveLongboard Well, like the video says, if you are standing wakesurfing, it would take HOURS of exposure to even get a headache. It does depend on your boat. If you can smell the exhaust, you shouldn't stay in that state for more than 30 mins. My guess is that when standing behind the boat, you rarely smell it, just maybe short bursts. If you get a fresh air exhaust, you won't smell at all while wakesurfing, even if very close as long as you are moving.

  • @wake9tv oh ok, thank you very much! I have an x2 and was just curious how long i could go:)

  • @LiveLongboard Fat guy is there to help make the wake :P

  • Considering how much gas Tige's use...one session is probably the same cost as flying to the ocean from anywhere in the US. Then again, if you buy a 76 k boat only to surf behind it..you probably have never tasted the juice of a real wave. hmm..gas fumes in my face and a roaring motor... or sea air, and a tasty trip to o natural shackville. 1 ticket please :)

  • @TheThommyboii The RZ2 only uses about 3-4 GPH to wakesurf. Thats about $15/hour to wakesurf. We are about 3-5 hours from the ocean, depending on which beach we go to. I take the kids surfing in the ocean about 2x a year, the most recent trip was 6/2011 in Santa Cruz at Cowell's beach. You can see the pictures at our flickr feed, flickr.com user: wake9

  • how much weight did you guys add??

  • @michridr69 Check out our video, titled "Killer wakesurf Wake, fully automated". In that video we discuss our setup thoroughly, and the setup we use now is very similar to that day.

  • That has to be a 2011 RZ2...2010 did not have the white powder coat towers.

  • @craigheck No, it is definitely a 2010, but it has that one 2011 feature. I think it was the first boat with a non-black alpha z tower from Tige.
