Younger Japanese people listen to a lot of Western music, mostly rock but they do listen to Hip Hop and other genres. A good example of a popular artist over there is Rihanna. The older generation listen to a lot Western Jazz. They still hold true to their own music as well though.

First of all I'm african american homeboy. It good that the black culture is being broadcast on an international level but its also bad because that only image they broadcast are the rappers, gang members, entertainers, ghetto girls and comedians. Younger Japanese people listen to a lot of Western music, mostly rock but they do listen to Hip Hop and other genres. A good example of a popular artist over there is Rihanna. The older generation listen to a lot Western Jazz. They still hold true to their own music as well though.

Well actually ive only been in the airport in Japan. Thats just what people told me. Everybpody says stuffs expensive there. Plus the food I ate at the Japanese airport was dam expensive. I have been in Korea though and stuff is cheap there. If you learn Korean you could move there and teach korean students how to speak english for a job. Good money. Plus you can get a lot of american stuff there cuy there are a lot of americans in korea. but if u move down their than go to Seoul. Its a big city

I'm in Korea right now...and everything Koola has said is true. Alot of American things here...and you can make a really good living teaching english. Interesting country here...but I plan on going to the states...taking japanese classes..and moving to Japan...been obsessed with it forever.
