Was very dissapointed in it. Very easy game, orcs look is ruined. Fighting system is ruined. And too pity that Risen did not proove my hopes as Gothic 3.

My 3 sequels greatest falls are Gothic 3, Warhammer Dawn of war 2 and Disciples 3.

It's an ok game, but oblivion seems to do a much better job of holding my interest. I prefer to make my own character and story rather than follow the game's one (and the acting on the part of the main character is pretty bad). The game also runs like complete and total crap unless you have a supercomputer (I can run oblivion just fine and Gothic 3 lags along to the point where I just stopped playing it)

In my opinion Gothic 1 is the best (Controls are not everyones taste, but I can work with them. Graphics are not that good, but the game is old).

Gothic 2 is great two, has better graphics and a larger World. The Addon is great, but it's quite hard in the beginning.

In my opinion Gpthic 3 isn't good, because it's totally different from Gothic 1&2. The Graphics are good, but that's not what counts. And it's buggy as hell.

Yeah Gothic 1 the best game ever(best storyline, real npc etc.) Gothic 2 second (almost the same as gothic 1..same main chars etc.) and 3 doesen't have a good storyline but still my favorite game

over 3Ghz procesor.I got 1 & 2+AddOn Gothic

Oblivion story sucks, Oblivion is linear(main quest) , oblivion's graphics is better than this , but it looks like plastic (at least this looks more realistical an more dramatical) oblivion's map is smaller , oblivion's voices and music sucks compared to this (I know Jermey Soule did Oblivion's score but its fucking repetitive)

Bottom line: GOTHIC 3 OWNS oblivion!
