Well, to begin with let me just say that I had no idea that this laser existed until towards the end. Secondly, it is impossible to beat the final boss without it. And thirdly, from memory it's a combination of 'c' buttons or something, not that hard. But if you google it you can find it :)

I still can't believe this game came out in America. N64 games were few and far between in the United States. Besides being an awesome game, it had to be one of the most bizarre games I'd ever played. I've been replaying this Goemon lately. It holds up well, especially for a 64 game. And the music is fantastic.

I really wish Konami/Nintendo/someone would pickup the DS version and translate/publish it over in North America. Playing through a story given game in Japanese, when your grasp of the language is limited is quite the chore.
