  • Hi HisBigness, another great video! This captures many of the highlights of the Toronto zoo, but more importantly it conveys the diversity of their specimens. You should consider submitting this to the Canada’s Got Treasures collection by joining our YouTube group (/group/TresorTreasure). It would be made available on our channel and website. Help celebrate Canadian diversity!

  • Nice video... I can't believe you saw the wolves... I went a few times as a kid, and I've always loved wolves, but we never got the opportunity to spot them :(

I'm going again next week, so hopefully this year will be the year!

  • The wolves are my favourite. If you can get to the zoo for opening, and head straight to the Canadian Domain (yes, I know that's the farthest possible point), you'll catch them finishing their breakfast and likely at their most active. Another trick for later in the day is to walk around to the back of their enclosure. Sometimes they rest on the downside of a small hill, but can be spotted from beneath the old monorail track.

  • Thanks for the hint, I'm sure to try that out - don't think I'll make it for morning, so I'll try the downside of the hill. Really hoping to see them this time :)

  • looks like alot of fun!!! can't wait to go this summer...but just asking..do you have to drive around in a car to see the animals, like at the African Lion Safari??? or can you walk around?

  • There is a zoomobile that goes between zones, but for the most part, this is a walking zoo. And it's a BIG walking zoo, so wear good shoes and practice safe sun! By the way, the animals are more active first thing in the morning, the parking lot and front gate less crowded, so if you can go for opening you can beat the rush and see the animals at their best

  • I'm more interested in the wolves...can you walk to see them... or drive??

  • The wolves are my favourite too, but they are housed in the farthest point of the zoo, at the bottom of a long, steep hill. Too steep for the zoomobile, so the only way to get to the wolves is on foot.

  • I think it was a GREAT video :)

but not to sound rude or ignorant but...the song got a little annoying by half way through :<

    Sorry but Great Job!!

  • Haha, that's okay, you're not the first person to question the background music on one of my videos. And you were nicer about it than some of the others!

  • Well I am glad that I didn't come off completely ignorant. Not something I like to do :)

But b/c this was a good video I would like to check out others :)

It is my son's 4th Birthday this June and B/C of this video we have made the choice to go to the zoo for his birthday! :)

So thanks so much :) !! Hopefully it will be an experience for me to! 23 years old and still have never been :P

  • I'm sure you'll enjoy it, it's one of the best zoos in the world. Just know that it is big, so be prepared to do a lot of walking! Oh, and all the safe sun things like have sunscreen and water if you go on a hot day. And my last bit of advice? Most of the animals are a little more active in the morning, if you can get there closer to opening...

  • Wow thank you so much :)

Def need the sunscreen. LOL and thank you for everything that is amazing of you! :)

I will most def let you know how it goes :)

  • I remember going there when i was a kid, but we moved. Thanks for putting this video up it brought back ALOT of memories. thanks :)

  • Well glad you liked. It certainly is a good place to have memories of!

  • very nice beautiful zoo

  • Great video there Ben I,ll be sure to check out Toronto Zoo when im down there in September.

Looks like I need more then one day to see it all!

  • Thanks! It is a great zoo, but it is also a rather large, sprawling one. Plus it isn't exactly centrally located. Worth a visit, yes, but leave yourself the better part of a day to travel there and explore

  • Not a boring video at all. Good Job

  • nice video and very cute song i loved it

  • Thank you, glad you enjoyed!
