The Source could've lied about its ability to tell the future so that it could sway Sally into bonding with it. It could've altered it's vision of Sally's battle with the spider kids. She wouldn't have known of their genetic memory and wouldn't have given the sword up. THAT would've been to it's advantage, and that's what it wanted. manipulating the future does not properly characterize the source's abilities.

@Pika2k10 So is Sonic 1 since the plot was retconned by Sonic Adventure. Sonic Generations retconned Sonic's original age to "un-retcon" Sonic 1. Sonic X is a "spin-off" that "ties in" to most of the games... except Generations.
What was Sonic 06? Official? In THAT one, sonic kisses ELISE. A human parody of Sally. Not the "official" Amy. Even SEGA knew that Sonic could have a relationship with a Sally parody than a hammer-wielding

I once read somewhere that Sonic does have a secret crush on Amy, but is not admitting it. I think it was on a sega comic or something. But age doesn't matter. =) You can be in love whatever age you are. But thats just my opinion for SonAmy.

that could've been written by a fan or something, besides if you look at the ending of Sonic CD you'll see that Sonic leaves Amy and then runs away, and on Sonic Adventure he actually says "that girl is such a pain" and about the age thing, true age doesn't mater, exept for the fact that if Amy's 12, that means she's not even a teenager yet, I think Sonic and Sally is better, that's just my opinion.

All right. There is something I have to say. I've always been into animation relationships like this. Here's an example: People are thinking who is the greatest girlfriend for ash in pokemon. either it would be misty, mae, or dawn. I've always wondered. But now, even though these sonic shows aren't related to the stories in the comic books about him. My point is, There making a lot of new shows on cartoon network like bakugan and I don't know wtf happened to naruto, but theres alot who wonder.

The Source could've lied about its ability to tell the future so that it could sway Sally into bonding with it. It could've altered it's vision of Sally's battle with the spider kids. She wouldn't have known of their genetic memory and wouldn't have given the sword up. THAT would've been to it's advantage, and that's what it wanted. manipulating the future does not properly characterize the source's abilities.
