  • its a nice add with the game and good tech. toy you should have seen the crap we grew up with in the 70's your all spoiled today try getting pong for xmas and playing it on a black n white TV

  • Well, you have to see it this way :

Whats a toy today was the latest in nightvision technology 40 years ago. AND was indeed in military use at that time.

Its a night vision system and it works.

Its does not have all too great image quality, it messes with your 3 dimensional sight as it has just one display , it depends on active IR support etc.

But why do you actually think modern nvgoogles cost up to € 5000 per unit ?

Because they have all what this one lacks !

  • Back in 1970 this "toy" would have also cost you a few thousand dollars.

40 years of advancements in microelectronics made the necessary components easily mass producable for very few money.

Thats why toy makers can now produce and sell them for affordable prices to everyone :-D

The same may happen in 40 years with military nv stuff that costs 5000 dollars today.

Then kids may have that stuff under the christmas tree. ;-)

  • i was on amazon comparing nvg the maxxed reviwed goggles wit h5 stars was worth 5,999 us currency. reviws such as " great usage in the force" i just dropped dead laughing on how mw2 ripped so many people off with this 10 dollar cheap toy where u can ge tat spy kid gear websites roflmaoooooooooooooo im probably gonna get backlashed by a mw2 fanboy saying'"no there not toys top it :( "

You sir got ownt by actvision capitalism baby

  • Cheapest "good" NVG's would cost about 4000 $ +.

So clearly doubt they'd put one in those.

  • i got the perstige editon and they acualy work really good every thing is compleatly clear and it uses light you cant see.

  • tbh they WILL BE toys because actual army night vision gogles cost over £200 or more, so they wont be selling them with a game which overall sells a tad over £100 will they

  • Try 3 grand.

  • you do know the army spent 10,000 dollars on a hammer....your statement is not thought out

  • They might of had some help by the military to replicate the real ones but they are just a cheap plastic toy and i'm not wasting my money on them. Anyway who actually needs night vision goggles unless your in combat, or if your power goes out.

  • your a dumb ass, yea its a toy because its a video game company thats giving them way, in no way u should expect military grade night vision, dumb ass. it is real working night vision because guess what ull be able to see at night, with infrared........

  • well then talk to iw and tell them next time not to release items under the wrong name, these "nvg's" should have been released under "infrared led tech nigger got your ass to waste money on a toy goggles"

  • lol? 1:16 cod 4 mission: war pigs

  • yeah it is a fake shitty toy search up mw2 nvg leaked on youtube youll see

  • do you realy think infinity ward would make fake toy night vision goggles cus they would loose so much money by the people returning the prestige edition

  • these goggles r shit... if mw2 really wanted to make something really special then they shouldve made one of those glasses that emit body warmth so oyu can see people "thru" walls^^^ and they should sell 'em for Ł119.00 (-Ł40 for a game and - Ł20 for books which leaves you cheap Ł59.99 pervert goggles^^^ and they sould call em MW2 Googles

  • That's called THERMAL imaging.

  • i have the eye-clops night vision goggles, and even though they are toys they work really great and they are worth the money.

  • they use IR leds and a cam, just like the kids toy im still geting them though cant afford real ones over a $1000 for good ones

  • Infinityward would b under constant fire if the goggles wer toys like the toy ones, so i dont thiink they would take a risk like that

  • The MW2 goggles are toys, of course...

Real NWG goggles go for 500$+

  • sick wicked pitures at the end. 5 stars*****

  • thank you

  • they r from china. the only thing you will get out of them is to see black people at night.

  • lol, i think they'll be a bit better

  • lol thats fucked up hahaha

  • what idiot started the toy rumour? they look nothing alike!

then we come to the lying, if they are lying, people will sue. simple. would anyone want that? no. they'e gotta be real

  • i think they are gunna be legit, but to be honest big ass companies don't worry so much about being sued they worry more about loosing customers more than anything.

  • their just like the toy minus the looks same funtionality

  • ya well everyone knows they arnt genna b perfect so sowhat they r all we want

  • they r fully functioning even watch the official unboxing

  • im just gonna wait when they come out, if other ppl say its worth to buy it? i might get one

  • problem is the prestige may only be an opening event thing

  • the goggles are made by the military i doubt they are fake.

  • where did you get this info from??? hahaha

  • urrrr the callofduty website there was a contest to win an early pair and in the info on there it tells u that they were assisted or somming by the millitary in the design prosess..... so yh........

  • @warhawkmedia, your a dumbshit douchebag, theyre made by ppl in china

  • well have a look for yourself tbh i would have thought they would be shit but according to feedback on the sales article clearly they are far from it there are websires everywhere tell where and how they are made they are modeled on a 2001 edition of lightweight military night vision goggles look at the fact you twat.

  • @warhawkmedia modeling something after another thing is a lot different then it actually functioning like it. Just give up. It's a children's toy with MW2 and IW stickered onto it.

  • The Goggles Are real Actualy.

There bought by a custom design

NvG Store. By the amount they get for the game

they will proply pay for the NvGs or start up cod 7

  • what do u wanna acomplish with this video? it's not the same NVG u moron

  • yeah it would be cool for airsoft or paintball but does it light up on the outside? that would be pointless if they see small red lights in the dark, they would have the same advantage as u lol

  • If they hit the lens though your blown

  • I'd say there pretty crap cus the ones d army wear range from bout 5000€,$,£ . I'm gonna get d normal game 2day goin to preored it can't wait it looks better then cod 4

  • well no one just buys night vision goggles...this is your chance to do that.

  • its real dude

  • Game is very good but, worthless NVG.

  • If they use Gen 1 night vision, then that might be passable. Some Gen 3's sell for like 5k dollars. All in all it's just a gimmick.

  • What do you expect its a video game your not going to get military grade night vision goggles for anywere near $90.00 anyways. They might be replicas but they arent going to be anywere near as good and as durable as the real deal.

  • they say the MW2 goggles they can see uo to 50 ft and its $200.00 in australia

  • I have the eyeclops night vision goggles and they r SHIT they cant see for more than like 10 - 20 metres and they have a relly small seeing ark

  • These would lose their novelty in about a week I think, when I first saw them I said oh s**t I have to buy those, but that is exactly what they want you to do,buy them without thinking about it.

  • Yea i dont think it's worth it i'd like to use for airsoft battles at night, but... ehhh 150? to much for me.

  • those dont look like the ones the guy unpackaged in the mw2 video

  • the game is 150$ prestige editon

  • If your wearing real nightvision goggles and the light goes on you can go blind.

  • it wouldnt surprise me if they were fake cuz the prestige edition is £199.99 for everything and that seems a bit cheap to include the game and a pair of functioning night vision goggles

  • its actually 119 pounds for uk so yh

  • thats what i said

  • Is it me but the MW3 NVG (0.07) dont look like the (0.20) ones!

  • 3OH!3? You're a faggot.

  • The Very early versions of night vision goggles didnt use light intesifiying tubes but IR beams to light up the place. And now usally NVG uses image intensifying tubes but have a IR bulb there to enhance the image.

  • well the cyclops night vision googles dont emit light, so they say, however in one review on youtube it said it has a dull red glow.

  • If you look at it you can clearly see IR bulbs around the place and the manufature probally said it dosent emit visible light because IR is invisible to the naked eye but they have a mode which it emits some light that can be seen.

  • its Eyeclops, not cyclops, lol.

  • yes you are right this is the same info I came up with be4 watching your video it seems to fit the bill to how they can do it so cheep!

  • im guessing the goggles will be just like these ones

  • These aren't anything like the ones that come with cod mw2

  • how not?

  • I dont get it either. Wheres the chicken strips that was promised with these??!!! I WANT CHICKEN STRIPS!!!! Shove those nite vision goggles up yo ass and give me chicken strips!!!!

  • of cours its a toy but with 2 lcds not with one like the jakks pacific thing .

you pay 60 dollas more the game thats cool

  • have they confirmed that?

  • where did u get the pic from 1:18?

  • i believe it was from the InfinityWard website but then again it could have been google searched i forget? why?

  • i cant seem to find it, if you still have it in ur PC would you mind sending it to me?

  • just pre ordered too.

  • Of course the NVGs are a toy. You think Infinity Ward will have REAL NVGs to give away for $150. I already have it pre-ordered for ps3.

  • i got it pre ordered for Xbox, but i also have the ps3.

  • awesome vid!

  • everyone comment and whatnot!! Tell me your thoughts on the Prestige edition of the game, or Call of Duty in general.

  • I dont get it

  • you dont get what?
