I use to play football for a Smith Center rival high school about 10 years ago. We played Smith Center and they defeated us as to be expected. I later became really great friends with a grid iron opponent who played with the Redmen. He, years later, admitted that some, but not all of their athletes took part in the use of steroids.

The Redmen almost got beat by the Ellis Railroaders tnite... it was 16-10 with 20 seconds left, and we had the ball at our 39 yard line..... we almost got it, but in the end the Redmen came away with the win..... again...... When it came to rushing yards, strength, heart, determination, and speed.... The Railers were clearly the better team......
