  • philippines is a unpolished diamond pag inayos gaganda rin.

  • Ive been all around the world and ive never seen a city as much as manila that needs a sophicated subway system like as in London or Prague.

  • puro makati lang pinakikita

  • We just need to clean up the slums and bring back the charm that Manila once had. We need to unite and work as a nation, as a brother, and we will prevail.

  • bK8 PURO MAKATI LANG PINAPAKITA????wtf

  • panu BOBO SI CORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Agriculture Industry is our tool to become rich!

  • DEVELOP and INVENT more INVENTIONS and TECHNOLOGIES so that people will make a good daily useful habit of it. It RUNS our lives COMFORTABLY

  • DECREASE the fucking TAXES. It erodes our MIDDLE CLASSES to the UTTER GARBAGE SHIT. LOL

  • We need to increase AGRICULTURAL potency after that soon all of those INFRASTRUCTURAL SUPERIORITY to modernize, then make our country active and dynamic. STOP the CORRUPTIONS and FRAUDS by our MISLEADERS or FRAUD LEADERS. It will SHRINK our country to the DRAINAGE SEWAGE. LOL

  • We need to make INVENTIONS and TECHNOLOGIES, patent them, and sell them to westerners. You know those people values technologies. We need to ENHANCE creativity to develop the potential of our INTELLECTUAL PROPERTIES without FOREIGN INTERVENTIONS. Make it ORIGINAL and UNIQUE, most of all of HIGH QUALITIES. I'm fed up of FOREIGN INVESTMENTS and INTERVENTIONS. LOL!

  • We need to invent more, patent more, profit more so that our GDP will go up. Increase the strength of our currencies, better stock markets and upgraded credit rating. Also stop printing out a lot more currencies because it causes inflation the more higher it is, the more interest rates go up. It's needs to increase the production of ENGINEERING and MANUFACTURING industries. Use RAW MATERIALS and NATURAL RESOURCES to build those industries to create more DIFFERENT JOBS to professional people.

  • think the phil have good education but it's like they havn't learned anything. they think they develop when they see supermarkets are built in their area. they don't realize that these foreign companies compete with them and they always lose.most of them are left selling pirate products on sidewalks. this is the same in larger scale. if they are smart enough, they should resist foreign investments like all first world countries did.

  • @iganduyan07 I think, for third world countries like the Philippines or other SE Asian nations, like Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, etc. Foreign Investments are important, for they provide, Jobs and all other things that will benefit every people in that country. And also, I think, it is just a matter of choice among people, if which product they think they will get a better benefit. For now, we need these foreign investors, but as time goes by, when we can provide ourselves basic needs >>>

  • that these foreign investors provide, I think, our government will not be convincing foreigners to invest to our country.

  • @KULATZ01 we can provide our own needs. we had our chance during marcos' regime when he imposed protectionism. philippine industry was emerging. but it just started to fall when the country was opened to more foreign investments when he was overthrown. we were on the right track, now we are deviating. besides, our president is STUPID. i'll change my mind when he will drive away this foreign investments if we can stand already on our own.

  • Before we talk about the agriculture and such, what about the Government? they're all greedy and envious! Stop Corruption!

  • wowowee

Tangkilikin natin ang produktong gawa sa pinas to generate jobs and taxes.

  • i like the music

  • one of the most promising countries by Citibank... way better than the rest of asean in the coming 50 years but still behind of indonesia and vietnam in that period of time.

  • @ned347 and where have you get your source?? please give me your source so i could check and believe! citibank huh??

  • well i can't post a link here but just search it on google the "3g countries'' or the "citibank's most promising countries" ..

  • guys Philippines as of 2011 is rank 14th best skylines in the world

    and

it is rank 13th in asean countries

    rank 32th whole world ^_^

  • There is always going to be corruption, it depends how a country can work around it. Look at the US a country that is wealth is suffering from the worst recession or a modern day depression. I should know because I'm a Fil-Am. Philippines has done great in the past 5 years to prove it can succeed.

  • The video is great in showcasing the potential of the Philippines. In the past decade Philippines is listed as part of the N11 and the BPO industry has recently surpassed India. They should also focus Agriculture and start mining the estimated 1 Trillion American dollars worth of minerals in the 5th most mineralized country in the world. I do agree on the fact it take two sides for a country to succeed, the People and the Government. Remember

  • @hotboidjune TAMA!

  • @r3gie831 Well, it would take time for the philippine's economy to rise again like in the 60's, so we would have to wait

  • @OWLCITY54 I like it uhuh,...fastest growing din buh?,..haha,...peace,...pero ika nga,...Let's see the future still,...he has still 5 more years,....

  • @OWLCITY54 This is travesty. The Philippines has been a newly industrialized country for years. It's nothing new. It was included in the N-11 group by Goldman Sachs in 2005. What year again? 2005. That was during the administration of Gloria Arroyo. The Philippines is taking a halt again just like what happened to us when his incompetent and lying mother was the President. Our GDP growth is predicted to be one of the lowest in Asia this year. Maximum of 5% then if unlucky, below it.

  • Stop spreading lies. An Aquino administration could be translated to a dark age! Crimes rising, our economy slowing down and character assassination of the family's political rivals! He better focus on the economy rather than hunting Gloria down. There are a lot to accomplish like genuine land reform, economic liberalization, infrastructure development and encouraging investors to put their money here.

  • @wangmingtian08 i cant believe you actually scrolled down far enough on the comments page to see my post. well anyways, im not spreading any lies. Im not promoting any part of the comment i have made over TWO months ago.

and, believe it or not, steps are being planned for the realization of the ones you have mentioned above.they're just not publicizing it that much. Our economy are actually doing well, its not that obvious because of the persistent prices of products.

  • @OWLCITY54 I didn't exactly scroll that far down just to look for your post. I was bored when I watched this yesterday and I read the comments of those who have seen it. It just so happened that your take on it was a little annoying. Anyway, you've got solecism in your answer. You can't use present perfect tense together with a definite time. It should be "comment I MADE over TWO months ago."

  • @wangmingtian08 gimme a break, what is this,a thesis paper ? of course its not, its the frickin internet!

correcting someone's faulty grammar on youtube, is just plain RIDICULOUS...

ha, you haven't realized you were debating with a 14 year old have you?

  • @OWLCITY54 The economy is not doing that well if its growth is negated by inflation. If the inflation is high, growth should be stronger. Oh, the Philippines will be one of the slowest in the region for this year. What does that say of your Aquino administration? In addition, growth of only 4-5% is not admirable. The potential of this country could rival the performance of China. We don't need to enslave our workforce through cheap labour to achieve that.

  • @ericsantiago011 I guess you are also against economic liberalization because you fear an imperialist takeover of our economy?! I'd rather be exploited by a foreigner than by fellow Filipinos. Keeping the economy closed allows the oligarchs to maintain their hold on power.

philippines the second fastest growing economy in the southeast asia 2010.. and included as one of the emerging markets in the world..every countries has shanties even in malaysia, thailand, and vietnam..sometimes those international media are so biased about philippines

  • @katrinadeeus Because we allow them to. Filipino media do not have any sense of patriotism in them. They tend to report the mishaps of the country rather than the achievements. Like what most Filipino journalists say, "we write what sells"

  • @RepublicadeFilipinas Spanish patronizer HERE!!!!!

  • @TheChamaemelum MIDDLE FINGER to you!

  • I am very worried about this. if you study them carefully, you would see that all developed countries start their development in Agriculture. pero Tayo , pinapabayaan natin ang ating mga lupain at mga ani. I think Philippines will grow, but it will never develop. unless natutunan ng pansin ang agriculture.

  • @fartherasia Yap,...because,...buildings are nothing compare to food which is the source of energy sa pagtahak sa araw-araw nah gawain,...

  • @fartherasia I agree. In order to get the economy to a higher level profound investments in agriculture will be needed. More people should have access to land in order to grow their produce and become self-sufficient while also creating more jobs in the city itself (for instance vertical farms). Also very important: infrastructure. Roads, railways, telecommunications, water, electricity etc.

  • @AmersfoortTristan you can't invest in agriculture because our farms aren't protected. they're overshadowed by imports. what should be done is to increase demand from our farms by repelling all foreign products. our farmers can't compete, they are dwarfs.

  • @iganduyan07 Agreed. There should be stiff import duties on goods that can be produced in the Philippines itself.

  • @fartherasia you're words are empty. how exactly? hehehe

Believe me.

  • Puro syodad. We need more sustainable clean power, farming technology, more farmlands, livestock, etc.

  • @GnaReffotsirk indeed!

  • @r3gie831 but the question is who is working for those companies, simple filipinos so those things are part of the economy, don't be so pessimistic and always smile.

  • @r3gie831 not all....ok

  • Philippines no doubt is one the fastest growing economy. The stock market has been outperforming the S&P500, FTSE100, MSCI Emerging Markets funds. Many foreign investors are becoming increasingly interested investing in the country. With Peso currently strong against USD, EUR and GBP. What I find fascinating are the goods are a lot more expensive in the Philippines compare to London. 10 years ago I used to have a lot of buying power now that power was almost halved!

  • @supahcool in 2006 and 2007 we are corrupt..

  • @supahcool Kongrats saten, kahit papano bumaba tayo sa bahagdan.

  • @supahcool Corruption is not the main issue here. It can never be eliminated. All we have to do is to keep it in check. The economic policies we adopt are those that hold the country back. The Asian Tigers were more corrupt than what we are today during their boom years. Besides, the media here tend to exaggerate everything.

  • bobo time?lol..fuck you for not working hard.

  • bobo time?lol..fuck you for not working hard.

  • do you know why the philippines wasn't able to maintain it's rising economy like in the 60's?

it's bacause in marcos' dictatorship, there are very tight laws.

  • @theproudfilipino

paano nasali yung paranaque? paki explain nga?

  • @loboyving what do you mean?

  • @theproudfilipino anung pangalan ng music?

  • @theproudfilipino tama!!! It's us to be blamed not just the government

  • @theproudfilipino that's exaggeration! If you comment, you should at least be more honest, even just half-truth. I was a teenager then, bakit wala akong naexperienced sa sinasabi mo. Umuwi kami sa province nong medyo humupa ang mga Communist/NPA, wala namang ganyang experience, we are very free to roam around, at may pasayawan,, At least you should read the WIKIPEDIA, exaggerated story,

  • @theproudfilipino 1960's when the Philippines is second to Japan. When Marcos started in 1965, that's the start of our calvary. They dilapidated our country's economy to the drain. They were the most corrupt gov't in Asia. Up until 1986. Being overthrown at the people's revolt and power. History speaks for itself and it cannot be denied. Marcos loyalists and cronies, you all shup up!!! You are all liars. Liars go to hell!!!

  • @utubeboso i tell you not to believe anything that the media says remember the time when marcos closed the abs and gma for covering so much of what was happening those times wherein they made the public believe that marcos is wrong but marcos is a president w/ a lot of plans for the country and discipline is the major way to make a country progressive but marcos'es laws were too tight at the point that many politicians who didn't like his tight governance and businessman's too like the owner----

  • @utubeboso of abs lopez of course he is going to seek revenge for his long stay in jail the media is controlled by people's who doesn't want our country to be progressive by making filipino pessimistic and negative thinkers for us to lose hope did you ever noticed that most of the good news wherein the philippines and filipinos are involved to be proud of are mostly found in the net and are not heard in the radio and broadcast in the television!

  • @utubeboso This is moot. The Marcoses were already rich even before they rose to power. Why is it that 2 decades have passed and they are still free? None of the cases have been proven despite two Aquinos occupying the Palace? They became the most corrupt government in Asia because that's how they were portrayed. Don't tell me you are prouder of being a Filipino now than during the Marcos regime when we were on top of our game?! You must be insane if your answer is yes.

  • @utubeboso History has spoken that the Marcos era was the Golden Age of the Philippines. History shows that the Aquinos have always betrayed and sold us for their own personal interest over and over again! It all started with the grandfather who collaborated with the Japanese (take note, imprisoned in Sugamo when the Allies liberated us), the father who were in cahoots with the communists and the mother who couldn't let go of the hacienda they don't really own!

  • @utubeboso Liars go to hell. Let's see who will descend down there. The Aquino fantards already have reservations in Inferno for calling their Cory a saint. At least, you don't hear us calling the Marcoses saints. You all commit blasphemy every time you do that.

  • @theproudfilipino yeah your right...nasasayangan talaga ako sa bansa natin...sana muli maging mayaman ang ating bansa back in 60's laws....-sigh-

  • @theproudfilipino Kung ang name mo the proud filipino,SINUNGALING KA!nagmamalinis!hinde yanang totoong pilipino at hinde proud!

  • @ShiroUnlimited Gudluk hope it materializes..

  • @technical010 KUYA 1987 CONSTITUTION PO ...

  • @amakialistair

SHET.. oo nga pala.. kulang ng 1 year.. Hahahahahaha..

    Tenkyoo

  • @technical010 OO!!! yan yung dapat alisin!! :[[

  • @monsTruo97

It proves that the businesses here in the Philippines cannot afford

    competition..

  • @technical010 hindi ba kaya ng mnga filipino gumawa ng sarile nilang capital? i understand foreign investment is important for growth pero hindi dapat sobrang reliant ang pinas sa foreign investment.

  • @streetz23

Phils got $70 billion worth of international reserves.. guess what

It takes $3 billion to invest in a locally designed.. locally manufactured

locally produced.. locally branded.. cellphone.. pero wala gumagawa..

And because we are close friends with Japan and Korea and even US

nobody dares to start their own car manufacturing

and not only that.. "nakakatamad at nakakatakot pasukin yon"

  • @streetz23

Philippines is making Electronics.. under foreign brand.

Philippines is also making cars.. under Japanese brand like Toyota.. and recently

they manufactured their 500,000th Toyota Car.. made in Philippines..

Its not a bad idea to rely on foreign investment.. as long as the people

have jobs.. however the down side is.. you are losing the sense of

national identity and autonomy over product labeling and the impact

that only foreign brands are good

  • @technical010 i think the problem is the monetary policy. the philippine central bank decides to print fiat money which devalues over time.. what is worse is that it is pegged to a constantly devaluing US dollar with no signs of stopping. American people rely on the government for everything the private sector here is on life support while the government takes up the majority of well paying jobs. So much corrupt bureaucracy with disregard to the national deficit. talagang nakakatakot.

  • @technical010 marameng potential ng pinas mareme din competent, pero lahat pumupunta abroad due to the currency value of neighboring countries. if only pinas based their currency on natural resources (in history gold/silver and other precious metals were used as currency) instead of paper money it will create a strong currency that will give great value to the peso. this way many filipinos will stay in the country creating a more stable, and wealthier economy.

  • @streetz23

Agree somehow with your second comment.. but monetary policy is just one problem

There are many problems in the Philippines.. the name of the country itself

is improper.. and inappropriate for our basis of sucess and i can explain

    that through private message

  • @technical010 i dont see why it cannot be explained through here. baka may alam ka na makaka tulong sa understanding ng Philippines para sa lahat.

  • @streetz23

The name Philippines was given by the Spanish colonizers to keep the native people

from naming this 7100 island nation "a proper name" which is Malayan race related one

The Spanish colonizers imposed this so hard to confuse the Filipinos

1.) also Barong is not national clothing.. the real national clothing

    is similar to Malaysian..

2.) The Spaniards totally corrupted our culture in what may come

they didn't even bother defending it against US's $20m

  • @streetz23 Philippines is a wrong name.. derived from the King of Spain..

in which they have no right to impose a name to be related to our Malayan-Chinese origin

first of all.. the Filipino is not a LAHI(race) it does not have a united DNA.. therefore

everytime you say Lahing Pinoy.. or Lahing Filipino.. or pure Filipino blood

is 100% or even 200% idiotic.. because there is no such thing

same as when a Singaporean can be a Chinese or a Hindu or a Malay

  • @streetz23 In the past.. this 7100 was considered as the Malayan Kingdom of North

or Royal Islands ( Maharlika ).. it was inhabited by Malaysians, Indonesians first along side the aborigin tribes of negrito origin.. and then came the South Chinese, Hindus and Arabs creating a Hybrid language mixture where Tagalog can be traced back.

and then it was colonized by Spain.. and in order to tie this country even after independence.. the best way to do it.. is to give them a wrong culture/name

  • @streetz23

Of all countries in ASIA.. Philippines is with a name that is not related to its people.. Filipinos is wrong.. the people of this country are of Malayan origin

(Check out Malay or Indonesian language) it is the same family as of Tagalog/Pampango/Bisaya.. they are all Malayo-Polynesian language.

The people in this country is composed of majorly Malayan/Indonesian people

then Southern Hokkien/Cantonese Chinese.. Sanskrit language user Hindu people

Arabs and a small Spanish mix

  • @technical010 see? that was not so hard to share was it?

  • @streetz23

not easy for other dumbass shitbags.. and it happens your not a dumbass so it was easy

  • @theproudfilipino

    Filipino existence : 1898-1971

    Pinoy existence: 1972-PRESENT

    ang salitang PINOY ay CANCER..

  • @thewizzard2010 TAWA AKO DUN AH...HAHAHA

  • i wish our media doesnt lie that much.....

  • @bitterkayne It's nice that both Luzon and Visayas are moving forward. More action should be done in Mindanao. Manila, Cebu and Davao should be further developed to match the rising cities of Asia!

I hope the winners of this coming national election will be true to their words at mabago na ang lahat para umangat ang bayan Pilipinas.
