i saw her in dallas too, back in the day. this is a tremendous song...........should have been a huge national hit, but janie fricke covered it and she got the national attention. sami jo's was a hundred times better....... it was big in Dallas, but i i'm not sure if it was played elsewhere. what a shame.......she got robbed.

I last saw her several times at Barney Oldfields;s in Dallas. She was one of the best that the Record Company;s missed out on! At the time she had a young drummer that might have been her son. Last I heard she was in Tulsa. Thanks for the memories. She was one of the BEST!
