Nope, they are most active at night. You need an update. Lions can sleep for 20 hours, but they're up during the night patrolling territory. On there patrols, if hungry enough, they'll hunt for themselves. Craig Packer thinks that just because the lion's smaller, it automatically loses. tigers use up more energy quicker because, at greater speeds, they take quicker steps. so, since they take quicker steps while going the same distance, they tire more easily. that`s one of the reasons they live in forests, it porvides the perfect cover for a shorter chase.

If a creature of any species is heavy, and holding on to something, whatever is holding them up will buckle and will come crashing down. The tiger's back legs are stronger so it will help them sprint and reach very high levels of speed to catch their pray.

Lions fight almost on a week to month basis. Tigers fight over territory, but only around 4-5 times in their lives.

Just how ignorant are you? Lions and tigers bite force is the same. Tigers are longer, lions are taller. You just proved, again, you don't know what you're talking about. Tiger's fat are not centered in one section in their body. They need the fat to live. Lions are 80-90% muscle. The tigers need the fat to live in their habitat. They are heavy, and can pull prey down more easily.

Something also to keep in mind is when they make anatomy sheets, they also measure fat content. The Lion is much more active at night. They hunt for themselves, and patrol their territory. If the lion is fat, they can't survive in their habitat.

Then they're lying. Unless these they were hunting were old or still very young. There is no way that a member of that cat family can do that an animal of that size. The jag is still a small creature. So still doesn't stand much of a chance against either of the bigger cats.
