Saw this movie n 1990 wen it was released, 6th class n mayo ireland, my fav movie back then, wasnt music so good then?? If ur different, u love this movie!
I had always loved my alternative music and film. High school, for me, was very conformist and conservative.
I saw "Pump Up The Volume" at the start of my final year. It taught me that it was okay to be a misfit. The rest of the year, if anyone gave me shit about anything, I would scream "SO BE IT!" at them.
Love this soundtrack, film and The Pixies till the day I die! Thanks for keeping me fucking sane all of you!!!
See kids, if you don't go to school, you will write signs that say "I got a right to a education."...Very poor english grammer. I use to believe in everyone having a right to an education, but now it's more of a privilege.
finally found tis version of the song. This one rocks and also everybody know by sir Mr. Cohen also rulz. Saw this film in thaetres wen first came out. Still god for un-videoed kids now adays. Where t find? Sum songs mean lot to me!!
I LOVED this movie when it came out, watched the DVD of it yesterday, the first time I'd seen it in years. The movie is a little dated now (as this was before everyone with cell phones or the internet) but the scenes between the characters still hold well, as does the music!
Great song and very good movie!! the early 90's were sooo great!!!! i want them back!!! i loved this movie and the soundtrack sooo much when i first saw it, really cool and very good selection of songs from very good bands!!!!
@samwhooper1 loved the movie! and made me realize some good bands like the pixies, that I missed...u like this, try pixies doolittle cd dude. heathers rocked it too!
this has pretty much always been my favourite slow song. when this movie first came out, i was so addicted to the soundtrack i wore out my cassette and had to buy a new one.
you can see "Doolittle" in the stack of tapes on Harry's desk
