Maybe I have an odd question...is it possible to..I don't know how to translate that properly...to switch the phone to silent? I mean that there is no sound when you receive an SMS etc. I'm just wondering because in nearly every sidekick slide review is a very annoying sound when the screen slides up.

Im from Australia, So idk if you can get these on prepaid plans with t-mobile. With Telstra Network you cant get this on a prepaid plan though. We also have purple in Australia, Out of blue & red I tihnk red.

if your a boy then get it in blue, red is for girls. the prepaid for the phone is $300 and $200 with contract. im not sure about the camera though. it cost about $15 for email and stuff and $20 for web browser.

Yeah... With the prepaid plan... You have to buy the phone for full price and then buy the Prepaid Sidekick deal, which give you internet, IMs, and all the sweet stuff for just a dollar a day

The keypad on the slide doesn't suck. Once you get used to it its actually pretty cool. I never had a sidekick so i had to get used to typing. The phone overall is much better than I expected. The only downfall is no video. But if you get a memory card, you get music, you get to take a lot of pictures, and you can download themes.

i dont know why people say the lx is better than the slide. the slide has more features than the lx aswell as having a better camera and its more compact so it feels more like a phone. and the screen isnt small, its 2.4 inches so t fits with the size of the rest of the phone

How is the speakerphone? is it loud like a Nextel? If you can go back & buy the LX for the same price, would you still buy the Slide?
