Kids are SO lucky to get to grow up these days with this type of technology! When I was a kid, phones were still attached to the wall in your house and you actually had to DIAL the phone to make it work. Computers were only in Sci-Fi movies, and we only got about 11 channels on the big, heavy, huge TV set that looked and sounded like crap. And we had to deal with cassette tapes getting snagged up in the cassette players... 8-track tapes popping as they switched tracks, and records skipping.

yeah i agree, back in my day i had to hunt just to live. kids these days are spoon fed! i went out with my bow and arrow (that i made) and brought home a bear when i was five. it was tough dealing with the roman empire taking their land, and kids these days have houses all to themselves and are getting fat!

I had to explain to my 13 year old son what a typewriter was recently! Then I got my old ZX spectrum computer out of the loft and showed him the computer I had when I was his age! He couldn't believe we had to load games from a tape deck or even type in our own games!

But then ... my 32k spectrum was better than the abacus or slide rule that my dad had when he was a kid!

thanks kid for your parenting advice. Our son doesn't like putting on a coat much less some costume at his age. Yep he was different but all the teachers and parents loved him. And boy was he proud of his iPhone.

@ChadTheTube He was a toddler so what did you expect the teachers and parents to say? That hes ugly in that costume? Nope. Since most people are usually nice to children. even on Halloween when they dress up in ugly and retarded costumes but people always say how cute they are. The teachers and parents saying they love the steve jobs costume or taking pictures of it means nothing. it just means they are being normal and not leaving him out. but the truth is the steve jobs costume is retarded.

@ChadTheTube my parenting advice is to forget about iphones. i've seen videos of 17 month old and 19 month old babies using iphones. if u can use an iphone at that young age it just means iphones were designed for people with very low intelligence. android phones are more advanced for smarter people. i'd like to see this kid use an android phone. lol. next year dress him up as some android costume and he will look like a genious. if he actually knows how to use an android phone.
