Looks like bronze that's being cut. So the Inconal statement is mute. Look at the O.D. of the stock before it's cut. I could be wrong but dealt with tons and tons of bronze.
RPM's are little slow unless its inconel or Renee your cutting. Also get more use from that CNMG and use the VNMG to finish. I'm guessing you slowed it down because your not using coolant. Where I work though one pass and that insert is spent. One more pass and it has exploded.
First two passes on with the boring bar are cutting air! Not an economic use of the machine!!!

Also, buying RH tools throws the chip DOWN, into the conveyor. Why blow chips UP with left-handed tooling?
