She could have been different, could have given the song a life of its own without copy so much from Gaga. and the video actually ran parallel to the words of the song. man pampers wife, wife have 'gansta' lover, lover and wife are adept at by-passing onlookers and successfully having an affair. I do admit him having to hide in the closet was not 100% in keeping them avoiding discovery but even that is a little cliche.
