Well done!! As for the transitionary stage, you seem to be handling it quite well. In time you will develop your own distinct sound and style. Playing in session with other players is the best way to hone a certain style or sound. The Bara MacNeils, Willie Kennedy, Paul Cranford, Dave Papazian (The papper) just to name a few are all excellent session players from Cape Breton.
Love your tone. Your classical training is obvious, but usually not too obvious. The only thing that seems a trifle out of place is the spiccato you employ a couple of times. I'm also a classically trained player who does alot of bluegrass and some Irish and the guys who haven;t had any lessons are alwayts saying "how do you make it sound so pretty?" ANyway I enjoyed it. This is really good. I like better than Natalie Macmaster following with Mom's Jig (even though I love it too)

Love Natalie MacMaster too. Very nice style. Hard to play cap breton music without classical background. Well done.
