i was in langkawi for over 6 year there studying and doing odd job, langkawi is the best island in malaysia, the people is friendly, and the food especially the nasi lemak in kuah town ( next to the bata shop) is heaven. i dont know wheater it there now, but you and can ask the local there maybe you can find it, i've been to tioman and i guarantee you pulau langkawi has much more to offer you, i love LANGKAWI

well this most beautiful island in malaysia, i live and study there for over 6 years, i have been to tioman, and i can guarantee tioman cant even get close to langkawi, the people is friendly and the food is nice, one of the best nasi lemak ( beside bata shop) i dont know whether it is there now, but ask any of the local people there, i think they will know, until now i cant forget the nasi lemak, try and you will love it

I have jsut been there on a sunset cruise an advice to everyone try this tour 3 hrs of fantastic trip with a barbeque lunch and a lot of free beer.tickets & transoprt can be arrnged from any hotel reception.donot forget uour swimming suit to go down to the sea while the boat is sailing (jaquozi)
