@aallaalli a mode is for sporty conditions.. like racing and has the best throtle response.. i dont know if the other modes affect the top speed, but a mode has the best accleration ;) b is for rain and standard for normal rides;)

Smooth torque delivery, balance chassis...the R1 is the best, period.

I can say something about the other Yamaha vitories in 2009 with Rossi and Lorenzo, but everybody already knows. Sorry Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki fans, but 2009 was theYamaha year.

I just ordered one after a test ride, freaking awesome power from low rpm on it, don't care what anyone calls it but compared to the 08 it is way more grunt from lower rpm. I loved it, and the sound whoever idiot who thinks the sound is like a thumper must be deaf. The sound is just like a MotoGP bike, it's so nice with proper exhaust you can sit with a grin riding it just for the sound.

Brilliant bike, my new track weapon. Yohoo can't wait for it to arrive...

Torque is pushing you down low, in the midrange, and guess where else. That's right it's torque you feel pushing you in the high rpm. It's only torque you will ever feel, because that's the only thing you can feel. You can't feel horsepower! And it doesn't just take over propulsion duties at some magical rpm while torque disappears. Stop propagating that nonsense you idiots.

This is because that Indonesia have a big tax, the tax is about 147,5% from the original price, so the Price in Indonesia is about 247,5% from the other contries, UHHHHH S**T, What a F******G TAX..........
