  • Are you hungrier after a good workout? I'm trying to eat more veggies so I don't bulk up but it seems my body craves mostly meat after a session. I had to take a 2 week hiatus for a family emergency and at that time I would drink a Whey protein shack right after wards to calm my appetite till I get home. Am I the only one?

  • I LOVE the elliptical. I have asthma so I can hardly keep my breath doing regular running.  I can be on the elliptical for hours and never get out of breath. It will take me awhile before I can do anything with weights on though LOL wanna see a wimp...look at me LOL

  • Tip: I hope you realize that running at a severe incline like that has to be taken with extreme caution!! girl you can get Achilles tendon! (major calf injury) you'll hear a pop at the back of your ankle so please Amy...please be careful ok. By the way keep up the good work.

  • The more we sit here and ask you what you do. The longer we don't have to do it, or the longer we can sit in front of this computer waiting for you to tell us something that we already know. All peopld need to know is that you did something. You moved your body, you were activie and you got out of it what you put into it. We just need to do it.

    Respectfully, I disagree. She shared much that I did not already know. For example, it helped me to know what her workout schedule looks like and how she organizes/varies it. Also, in another vid, she shared the kinds of foods she eats to maintain her weight loss. I'm more of a visual learner and it was very useful -and confirming in some cases- for me to actually see the products and the simple meals. It's one thing to know WHAT to do but she shows viewers HOW she did it. =0)

  • I watch you all the time. Because of you, I have gotten the motivation to get back to losing weight. I have about 100 lbs to lose, but, I set an initial goal of 60 lbs. I know you have reached your goal, but please don't stop your videos. I actually started recording videos but have not been brave enough to load them to youtube. Don't know if I can handle the criticism.

The reason I'm asking, I've been working out for a few months now and have finally managed to fit into my old jeans, but the number on my scale keeps going UP not DOWN! not sure whats going on... any thoughts on that?   • i have definitely grown to love running with music... i dont think i can do it without music...too quiet and sometimes when you get kinda tired and your favorite verse or beat comes on you just get this burst of energy to go faster...love it.

  • Yeeeaaaahhh I don't have money for a personal trainer. All I do is run, spinning, and strength training on my own. It seems to be working. I prob wouldn't go to the gym if I knew I was gonna be killed by trainer! LOL I admire you for that cuz I am a wuss! Congrats chica! Your weightloss journey has finally paid off and you look great! :) keep it up! I need the inspiration :)

  • I have to agree with havin the right music, I can not run without my ipod, lol.

  • I actually get my exercise routines from youtube.

    I sometimes look up single exercises and incorporate them into my work outs.

    I don't understand why these people with so much information literally at their fingertips, and they can look this stuff up for themselves....LOL.

    If they did this i bet HALF of your inbox would be relieved. (no offense anyone, but I'm just saying)

  • Yes its like your body craves it and if you don't workout, then you feel like you're missing something. Sounds like Dean is an excellent trainer and really trains, unlike some trainers that tell you to use a machine and then walk around talking to other trainers while you're busting your butt (no never happened to me, I just see them in action when I go to the gym)! Wonder if Dean can create a gym routine for me :) hmmmm LOL!!
