Everybody thinks that recruiters lie, and that they are all liars. This DOES NOT represent all recruiters. I hate how everyone thinks that ALL recruiters are out to get everybody, when they are not. The good ones at least. I have a great recruiter, and I'm proud to serve this country for when I leave in 51 days for Air Force.

i was told that i was never going to deploy due to my job title. this was in 2003. i've been deploying constantly every 10 months for 8 months at a time. not only that, but the time i get back in America with family is cut from 10 months to 6 months due to training. sometimes less. the point is, it's a job. and i apologize to my wife every day that im not smarter, or i'd have gone to collage. be ready for that too. do what you're told, take what you can, leave when the opportunity arises.

Just to ad more detail. Before you think i am stupid i was 18 and this was back in 1983. The Recruiter told me my score was high and i have pretty much a choice of what i wanted. I told him something in computers. He came back and told me the computers were down atm but i could still sign under another job and he would correct it once the computers came back up and fix it. Dont make the same mistake i did , Recruiters Lie.

I spent 4 year in the military, and the Recruiters do lie all the time. I dont know what hippies have to do with them lying. Its a contract with someone wanting to do their part for their country. Most of us who join are young. We are supposed to care about our kids but no one is there to protect teens from Recruiters and the Gov is turning a blind eye. Look in a mirror when you go off and call other people names and say rotten things to them, most people will be talking about themselves. I think before people start calling these recruiters names or any other recruiter at that matter. Do your research first, and don't believe everything you hear until you find out the truth yourself. No one showed the unedited version of this investigation to the public, so untill that happens keep your mouth shut. But the media will never be the ones to say they were wrong, it's all about money to them. If you are not serious about being in the military than don't waist anyones time on it.

I wonder how many recruiting stations they went to before they got this on camara...It was funny they spent 5 mins and 35 secs on showing how Recruiters lie and about 2 secs stating that they went to several recruiting stations and were told the truth....What a great country we live in....If you looked at the recruiter's Recruting Badge you would see that it was Black...That means he was a fairly new recruiter.

The way I see is that if people really want to know about the milliary all they have to do is go online and find the truth down to every question. There are 2 sides to every story and the media is only out there for themselves. The media are the ones selling the lies in this case. They never showed the real truth on camera about this investigation. It's really sad that these soldiers are paying for these lies. I am proud of our millitary and they have more guts than anyone else out there.
