  • i can understand that u grew too old for her because u mightve gotten too big to ride her or ur riding skills are different levels

  • Annie is my horses name :)

  • wow. you guys really think it is easy for us to sell our horses? I sold my show mare becouse I lost interest in showing and she was way to good to sit out in a pasture and do nothing. It was in my horse's best interest to be sold to someone who would want to show.

and honestly I cried when I had to sign her papers and send them off to her new owners. It's a tough decision that horseowners have to make.

  • Oh my gosh! Im thirteen and I got my first horse on my birthday to. She's also a quarter horse she look's almost exact to that! :))

  • NAUGHTY... that is a bad pasture there is no easy access to grass!!! but we did not see all of it

  • y u sell her

  • you know that there is A LOT of kids out there who would love to own a horse but cant and one of those kids is me how could you just move on and just forget such a wonderful creature. I know that if i had a horse i would always keep it even if i out grew it i wouldnt care i agree with icepawhawkpaw !!!

  • 1st horses are really special, so you're not suppose to sell them. If I were a parent I'd be pissed if my kid sold their first horse ONE YEAR LATER!

  • whyd u sell her?

  • awwwww soo cute <3

  • nice horse!

  • don't listen to all the people going on and on about how you where stupid for selling her, 1 1/2 years is actualy pretty good compaired to a LOT of other people. you made sure that she went to a realy good home and that is the best thing ever. if you just 'threw' her away, then it probably wouldn't have been a very good home!

  • at 0:52 the horse looks kind of skiny. I s that just me !?

  • st first i thought it said burning my horse and i swear i had a traight out freaking panic attack O.O

  • I am Having to Sell My Horse for 2 Reasons One She Needs More training then I can give her and 2 I out grew her after 2 years,

  • Why are people being so mean?? Obviously the horse was loved and sometimes the best thing to do for a horse is to sell it. If you had shown me this about 1 month ago I would probably be saying the same thing as a lot of you haters but now I realise the best thing to do for a horse sometimes is to move it on to a new home. Why would she keep the horse if she could no longer ride it because it had been outgrown?

  • I cant believe all the rude people here dissing you, just because you had to sell your horse because you outgrew her and probably wanted a new taller horse its really ridiculous, people should just read the discription, it was hard for you to make the dession to sell her and everyone says you dont love her of course you loved her! you could easily see that in the photos and videos and everything. BTW i think its lovely you still get to hear from the people who bought her from you (:

  • allelua make this horse have the BEST TIME OF HER HORSY LIFE!

And its sad that you have to sell her. my mum says: No You Cant Have A Horse You Have Got Your Sister! blablabla and im like 10 and she says NO but you can get them like me because I convinced my mum a horse like dis

Look, Atleast I have a heart!

    No

I will board it in a centre

    No

Look, I see you dont want me to have a horse, but I have good responsibility for my fish!

Her name is Princess and miniature horse named Willow!!!!

  • People are immature, grow up.

  • i own a horse

  • Stop being mean people! Honestly have a heart! Am I the only on who sees that she loved this horse? I dont even know her? THis horse probably loved her! It doesnt take long for a human and a horse to bond. It took me a month and he already follows me around like a dog. And I only get to see him a couple times a week cuz I cant drive out everyday. Some horses are happy to have food shelter and water then some love. That horse is very grateful I bet. And now is in another loving home

  • You really sold her!?!? I guess you didn't have a bond ik I would of eith her she is so pretty but I guess we can't all love horses in that way

  • She's really pretty =D I'm trying to plan something so I can buy my first horse with my money, my mom is giving me 5 euros every sunday and I'm saving it, in 3 or 4 years maybe I'll have one, I hope..... I also have in mind the saddles and all of that, and the doctor in case it stays sick =|

  • Why would you jut buy a horse then when u get used to her , sell her … that makes no sense

  • i'm sorry for being "criticty" but i don't have a horse,

you shouldn't keep her halter on whiles she's in her pasture/paddock it could get caught on something and she can get hurt.

  • @2309Lisa yepp u keep thinking that

  • @2309Lisa haa better then what u do

  • @2309Lisa wow then ur a pathtic as she is

  • omg why would u get a horse and sell it 1 year 1/2 later sell it right when u get to know it and it gets to know you thats SO STUPID , you just "THREW" away a perfectly good horse why would you even buy it!!? just to do that! listen, if you are going to get a horse and throw it away then dont but it in the first place! Hey your a real idiot like really i feel bad for that horse that horse deserve way better how could u but the goood thig is the horse is gettinga way better home -hawkpaw-icepaw

  • @icepawhawkpaw

comments like that just show that you know nothing about horse ownership. it actually makes me laugh a little. don't judge people when you have no idea what you're talking about.

  • @lgsthunder we actoally know what we r talking about sorry but that is really mean -_- if you do then why would u have bought a horse than sold it in the first place??

  • @lgsthunder

I would have to disagree. The above comment does make a good point: horses in society today are often treated as disposable possessions. Instead of a lifelong companion, horses are bought to suit needs that change. This is one way horses end up in feedlots, which is unfortunate. Horse ownership does not mandate that you sell and purchase several horses in your life--and some people consider horses to be like a car or a dog, a forever investment. Food for thought.

  • @icepawhawkpaw I Completely Agree With You! I Don't Understand Why You Would Sell Your Horse After Only Owning Them For A Year 1/2. I Understand That You Wanted To Do More, But I Mean..1 Year, Really? Im Buying My First Horse In Two Weeks, And I Have Practically Changed My Hole Future (University Etc) Just Because I Didn't Want To Sell Her In A Year 1/2, No Matter How Old She Gets, Wether Or Not I Can Ride Her For W.e Reason, I Refuse To Ever Sell Her. I Guess You Just Didn't Have A Real Bond.

  • @PrometheusFlyingSolo thank soo much for not snaping at us and yes i agree with u too thats soo mean thank for not being mean on it

  • @icepawhawkpaw you are right

  • @icepawhawkpaw So what if she sold that horse she outgrew it! You don`t have to leave bad comments about selling HER horse it was hers and that is what she needed to do and the horse still has a nice loving home!

  • @icepawhawkpaw its not like she had much choice she outgrew her. its better to sell her than to try and ride and possibly hurt her or just leave her in the pasture w/nothing 2 do

  • @icepawhawkpaw i know i would have kept her for years! Until she was old and needed to be retired!

  • why did you have to sell ur first horse

  • @icepawhawkpaw There could have been plenty of reasons somone would sell something they love. They could of either out-grew her, didn't have the money to be spending on a horse, got to a point where they need a more experienced horse, etc. You sound like a complete idiot and as Igsthunder said, you clearly know nothing about the ownership of a horse. & you don't know the full story! When you buy your own horse, you can own him until the day that he dies.. and that's YOUR choice. But this ISN'T.

  • @icepawhawkpaw wow before you go on hatin someone exleast learn how to spell.

  • Omg, lucky you!! :D

    I'm getting a horse.

    Hopefully sooner than later xP

    Your horse is BEAUTIFUL!

  • PLEASE SUBSCRIBE TO MY CHANNEL! ALL ABOUT HORSES !! p.s your horse is beautiful and I hope you appreciate her forever. because a horse will love you no matter what so love her no matter what

  • i cried watching this video you are so lucky to have owned a beautiful horse like this!

  • @Chebasey she got to experianced for her and she couldnt learn any more so she had to sell her

  • GORGOUS HORSE!

    X

  • You spelt cheyanne wrong it's Cheyenne. I know because it's my name.

  • @HopalongBarrelRacer

There are a lot of different spellings. Cheyenne is the traditional, Native American spelling, but we chose to go with Cheyanne and nickname her Annie.

  • @lgsthunder I now there's many ways to spell Cheyenne. Anyway the one you picks looks good. I really don't know why i even said you spelt it wrong cause i know there's many was to spell it.

  • @HopalongBarrelRacer

    could be a diffrent name

    anyway nice name !

  • l wouldd givee anythinggg to get a horsee! i love horses and ive alwayss wanted one

  • my soon to be horse's name is Cheyenne<(Notice it's with an "e")

  • @0HoRsEsGiRl0 mayb she wanted to spell it with an a

  • @horsmiky37 oh i know, i was just pointing out that the names are very similar yet different

  • gorgeous horse , she looks just like my friends horse Bondi. Im sure you loved her , And everyone should just get over themselves. My first horse is arriving in 4 days :)

  • If. Buy a full groun horse do u call her wat u want or do they already have a permanent name???

  • Part 3#

. She is a thoroughbred, hunter mare.I show her in: turn out, show jumping, XC, flat and etc. She is a black horse with a silverish mane and tail. She has a crown on her belly that is really faint and has two white socks.

  • Part 2# I enjoyed entering gymkhanas with him. He is also used in lessons. My 3rd pony was a show pony who's name is Dragonfly Pool. (fly) He is a 7 year old stallion, who still requires tons of training. I love fly and I do enter him in turn out shows, even though he is white. He is kind, but VERY cheeky. He is very good in dressage and jumping, I see him do some stuff in his pasture! My 4th pony is actually a horse called Saint Georgia. She is 12 years old, and is already a GREAT show horse

  • My first pony was a chestnut shetland called Ana. She was 20 years old, and a mare. She was very easy and I learned a lot on her. I sold her to my cousin, who lives very close to me. So I keep Ana at my stable with all my other horses. My 2nd pony was called Einstein and is a welsh c. My sister now owns him, and I owned him for a year. He is a bay with a plus sign on his back. He is 16 years old, and a gelding. He is kind and never acts up and I enjoyed riding him a lot. I enjoyed entering gymk

  • You shouldnt have sold her. You should have kept her then loaned/leased her out to someone she will enjoy life with. then you could have bought another horse and then had both of them!

  • "move on to something new" that is sad..

  • Omg i ride a horse called cheyanne :)

  • Also, it's not like she dumped it on the side of the street! She sold it to a a person she knew would love and care for her horse!

  • Okay, my guess is that all these people yelling at you for selling your horse have not been in the horse world very long. People, she got too experienced or too big for her horse and couldn't afford to keep two. Why would she keep a horse that she had learned all she could from( yes, even though she loved it very much) when it could benefit someone else more than her?

  • ok kickbuttequastrian has a point that you can't get too attached to things in the world but seriously if you just ditch your horse honestly you don't deserve another horses aren't just to ride they have a life too!

  • its ok that you sold ur horse at least you got a new one but people shouldnt care its ur desision i dont know if i spelled that right!

  • again im not trying to be rude so please do not yell at me but in some ways i dont agree with selling a horse like u wud a car or somtin like that to me its like im gonna sell my dog because she is perfectly well behaved but i want a dog that is untrained idk somtin like that and if people dont sell their horses itss not gonna make it to where their wont b anyhorses to buy but anyway both horses are beautiful and i hope you two have gotten very far together

  • lol i have the same halter!

  • Ugg people honestly! She wanted to move on to a harder horse! Of course she loved er horse!!! If she had her horse for a year and a half don't you think she would love her horse!! And keeping her horse and not being able to improve as much as she can with a new one is sad. Of course she loved her horse people bu its good to move on. Your not supposed to get attached to things in the world but we all do it.

  • @kickbuttequestrian

Thanks you! You are exactly right!

  • @lgsthunder welcome some people dont understand:)

  • So wat I can't sell my first pony just because I want to push myself more? Give her a break. And just because u don't have a horse doesn't mean she can't sell her's.

  • @Chebasey you people dont know anything about the horse world. when you want to move on in the horse world that means the horse is probly too easy for you. it was her decision and you cant change that!

  • Okay sorry but I would NEVER sell my very horse because I decided to "move on" YIKES

  • I'm not trying to be rude, but she seemed like he perfect horse for you. She is fully built on the haunches and seems calm. I have experience with horses and I would have never sold her. That's my point of view but it may not be yours. Why couldn't you keep her and still have your red dun?

You changed your mind, you cant just give up a horse because you decided to "move on." THIS IS MY OPINIONS AND I'M NOT TRYING TO BE RUDE!" :) :(

  • @09meandmyhorses

You don't know anything about me, so how can u say she was perfect for me? Different horses are right for different riders. I'm not rich and my parents don't spoil me rotten like some people, so I couldn't have kept her and gotten another horse. These comments are rediculous, if nobody sold horses, there'd be none to buy! It's not like I'm the only person in the world to ever sell a horse!

  • @Chebasey that's a very immature argument; i know what it's like to want a horse more than anything, but there wouldnt be any horses to BUY if nobody sold them! don't you think it would be more cruel to keep a horse that no longer meets your riding standards, when they could be helping someone else to improve?

  • awww shes adorable

  • You just can't buy a horse and then "move on", when you buy a horse, it's a lifetime commitment....

  • i would never get rid of a horse like that.... You were so lucky!

  • u r so lucky to have a horse. I am 13 years old and have been beging to get a horse. I have been waiting 4 years to hear that magic word YES. It has not come yet but i just hope it does. Plz comment bck lots of love xxxx.

  • @Chebasey

Please don't try to judge my situation when you know nothing about it. She was my first horse and at the time I didn't know what I really wanted. I did not "throw" her away. she's in a very loving home with a close friend of mine and is doing great.

  • random but i have that blue halter with the blue and green lead rope

  • She looks so much like my trainer horse nikki!!!

  • oooo, im soo closed to getting my first horse atm, I was trailing a horse; but we found she wouldnt be suited for what i wanna do. so were looking again.

oh and honey your current horsey? is gorgous

  • pony so cute

  • wait? in ur profile picture its u jumping then u have a video of u learning how 2 jump. Now Western i am rlly confused?

  • haha yea i know. the video of me learning how to jump was from about 5 or 6 years ago. then i got this horse 2 and a half years ago and did western for a while with her. now i have a new mare that i bought a year ago who jumps pretty well and my profile pic is of myself and her this year. she also does really well in english and western pleasure though and i do more of that than the jumping.

  • Maybe that's not her in the picture.

  • it is. it's just a lot more recent than this video and my riding has changed a lot over the last three years

  • so cute:))

  • i wish i had a horse... oneday....

  • I rode a horse named that....english tho....looked liker her 2......but I know the owner so..idk

  • I don't get it how people just sell there horses because they have taught them alot :( it's sorta sad. I have not got a horse but hopefully In the future x

  • @XxShowJumpingMadxX People outgrow their horses eventually, physically and skill-wise-- and unfortunately they can't keep every horse they've outgrown, that gets to be way too much money. All you can do is find another home for them where they'll be just as loved.

  • @XxShowJumpingMadxX they only sell a horse if they compete, and cant move on with the horse they had. Thats the thing, since you dont know what itys like to own a horse, you wouldnt understand. Sometimes its for the best, and it breaks the owners heart to see the horse leave, but they know it was for the best at heart.

  • pretty horse

    you do western?

i prefer english...but my mom likes western....

    pretty horse

  • Iheartchleo93- aww thats nice at least someone other than me care

  • you are good at riding a horse i took lessons but they all got canceled

  • you just got rid of er, well than...

  • she is really pretty

  • Good song choice, I listean to it often. I would have never thought to put it on this kind of video but it seems to fit.

  • I know what you mean!!I had my first horse for 3 1/2 years he was my and is my best friend!I had to have him put to rest last month..I cried and still didnt know why he had to leave..but then I had to remember that I saved him and gave him the best years:) its very hard..I got another horse abused horse like he was.Shes such a nice mare:)

  • y r u riding english in western tack?

  • because i was doing western...

  • showing, yes, but it's not at all uncommon to practice 2 handed. when this video was taken annie was just learning to neck rein

  • people arent made of money if she needed to move on she probobly couldnt afford to keep that horse..

  • Comment removed

  • HA!your joking??my friend had to wait in till she was 15,I waited for one since I was 10,I got my second horse on saturday..so it will.I got both my horses free.

  • i got my miniature horse wen i was 9 i got my big QH mix when i turned 10

  • i might get a horse if i can find a hypoallergenic horse in britain plz suggest websites where they sell them !! =)

  • try getting a curly horse!! their hypoallergenic

  • i think she wanted that grass! hehe :P

  • Hey that's my name

  • i like the vidoe.and this is my favorite song. and its cool how it fits perfect with the video

  • i screemed when i got my pony hahaha i still have him though. I love ur video though ha

  • actually, in all the riding clips my mom thought she was taking pictures and couldn't figure out why the camera wasn't working.... we found out later that she actually took a couple video clips

  • why did you get rid of her? shes beautiful

  • Sometiems there comes a time where you'r too afvanced and have to part... =/

Or it gets too expensive, you somehow 'lose interest'(AS IF XD!!) or other things come up, it's sad but it happens.C:

  • i remember when i got my horse..

my dad always said he would ring up about a horse and we'd see.. we never did until oneday! HE WAS ACTUALLY FOR REAL! I almost cried i was so happy

  • great horse but to tell u the truth i would NEVER be able to get rid of my 1st horse

  • haha same here

  • i have the same lead rope lol. :)

  • OMG, i am 13 now and my parents are buying me a half arab pinto mare for my b-day she is amazing and I am already attached to her( I ride english though)

  • dam i wanna horse......i also cant ride western coz the saddle hurts but i still like western riding

  • western???? :-/

  • what? you don't like western?

  • welll kinda.. but he looks like he would be a good english horse..

  • I hate the fact that people dis western. you know what I love western and also I know everyone has their likes and dislikes but people really need to stop dissing western

  • im not dissing it.. i used to do it too but for like 3 months and it got plain boring

  • I know! I ride both. Just because western riders don't have to spend $1,000 to show in a local shows doesn't mean they are like hillbillies or something like that. At the same time though all english riders aren't stuck up snobs

  • 1)copy&paste

    2)post on 2 diff vids

    3)Hold your breath

    4)look at your hands

  • Hallelujah is right! ;) you lucky girl.

  • U know, if it wern't for God, u wouldn't have that horse........ :)

  • for my 13 birthday i also got a horse ;) after 10 years of riding without one my parents finally gave in and bought me hilary the horse i was training, since her owners didnt ever come to ride her

  • I am so sorry about all the comments by MySoCalledHappyEndin

That was out fight and I should have brought it into email I am sorry!

  • Sorry for posting a lot.

I would also like to say that just because your horse can't do a spin or flying stop doesn't mean they can't be a western horse. They could be a pleasure or trail horse and still be ridden western. In my opinion, that horse would still be a western horse. It's the same for jumping. Just because your horse can only do crossrails and not 5 foot doesn't mean your horse is not a hunter or jumper. You can't train a horse to Like to do something.

  • Comment removed

  • I just don't understand why you don't understand why sometimes you sell your horse. Do you think everyone who sells their horse is treating them like a piece of junk?????

  • P.S.-I didn't say you were a champion. In one of your comments it sounded like you meant that in order to be a western horse your horse needed to know a spin or flying stop.

  • Comment removed

  • Sometimes a horse just isn't the right fit for an owner. I love Annie and selling her was very hard on me but i realized that i was ready to move on to something different.

  • Sometime the rider "outgrows" their horse. This means that the rider's abilities have surpassed the horse's ablities. I know for me the reason I gave back my horse was because he was a prospect (he wasn't really trained) and when I was training him we found out that he really didn't like to jump. He liked to run and have fun; he was more of a western horse. Sometimes things just don't work out.

  • Comment removed

  • i would disagree. My paint mare is awesome at reining and western pleasure and she can also do really well in jumping and english pleasure. English and western are taught differently but that doesn't mean one horse can't compete and do well in multiple diciplines.

  • Trust me. My horse Dill liked western better. I rode him western for games a couple of times and he enjoyed that more, even if he wasn't "trained" for that. Your horse doesn't need to be trained in a certin disiplin to enjoy something more. They just have to be given a chance to try it. When I said he liked to run, I didn't mean that was what made him a western horse. I also didn't mean a cutting, or reigning I meant a trail or games horse.

  • People LOVE there horses and are forced to sell them! I had to sell it because I had no money and we were not doing well at all! How DARE you say that! You JERK!

    meant for MySoCalledHappyEndin

  • Comment removed

  • That is a sad thing that happened but not everyone is like that.

  • Well actually my sister had a major medical problem and the people where we kept him were closing down the place so we had to sell him!

HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT TO ME???

I miss my horse every day! I LOVED that horse and I found him online years later and i actually drove 4 hours sstraight to get to him! YOu have absolutley NO right to say that about other people, just because your a spoiled brat doesn't mean I am!

    (again, meant for MySoCalledHappyEndin)

  • Woohoo! Praise the Lord! Hallalujah! Now, if it wornt for God, you wouldn't have that horse right now! I swear dude!

  • funny i used to take lessons on a horse named cheyanne :)

  • Aaah what a cutie ;) It would be a miracle if i got a horse xD! I hope you enjoyed the time with her :D:D

  • it would be a miracle for me to get a horse too lol,

  • haha

    okay I will try!

  • Oh! How cute!^^ How have you persuaded your parents to buy a horse? I want to have a horse!!!

  • i want a horse too =[

  • my horse is named cheyanne to! your horse is gorgeous!

  • i also hav a appaloosa too..... arent they great!!!!and Annie must of been a great horse she was so pretty!!!!!

  • thanks!

and yea, appy's are amazing! but annie is a quarter horse. my appaloosa is a bay named brandy.

  • why did you sell Annie?

  • it's in the description and below and on her for sale video

  • why you selt your horse :(!

    she was zo beautyfull!

  • She was a great horse to start with but i was just ready to move on. I wanted to get back into jumping again and compete more and annie just wasn't the right horse for me.
