  • Isn't there about 6 other 'versions' of this song depending on what door you enter? The third one is lovely.

  • i hate the answer a little because aegis dont have his w.uniform -_- ... well

  • I'm in the middle of teh Answer and I'm really loving the hell of of this dungeon theme. Makes it sound like S.E.E.S are lost but are pushing onward.

  • 7:35 this part was from yukari dungeon ? was rlly sad

  • The reflective mood, and the way it builds up remind me of the song "Reve" by Vangelis. Both are very beautiful pieces.

  • I'm torn. The music makes me want to play The Answer again, but as fun as the challenge was, I don't think I can grind hard enough to fuse personas with all the auto-ma skills... again.

  • RRRRGHGHG. I just spent 3 hours looking for this song, thinking it was a remix to Tartarus that'd been lost on the internets and iTunes had killed it for me. I didn't realize it was actually Interstice of Time. T^T I'm stupid.

  • Oh, god, this song. Yeah, I remember this song. I remember listening to it for 25-26 of the 28 hours I spent playing.

Oh, it's a beautiful piece, but GODDAMN the grind. Good thing Metis was so adorable.

  • This song gets hypnotic if you fall asleep listening to it with headphones on. lol

  • @karlkablisk tell me about it :/ i fell asleep when i was studying

  • Beautiful song especially in the final dungeon of the Answer. It goes well with the beautiful surroundings in the dungeon.

  • yeah it's really soothing and relaxing song... the variations in it also grow lightly then become stronger.. such art :P

  • When the piano plays the melody it's just beautiful. I used to go back into the dungeon just to hear that music when I was playing The Answer.

    Shoji Meguro is a boss.

  • I like the part between 00:02 and 00:03 the most.

  • is this an anime WHERES THE ANIME

  • @HmongHeroo it just a game. well p4 has a anime and i hate it =/ i want p3 anime

  • @Allen913369 ea i havn't looked at p4 yet but p3 story is pretty good

  • @Allen913369 Well they won't make an anime of people shooting themselves in the head. Not to mention that the MC is emo and too silent. I'm not bad mouthing him, actually he's a badass kickass (any other protagonist, even P4's, is shit compared to him) and would fuck even my mother if he could. The guy is a legend but it won't become an anime. I hope they finish the manga and somehow somewhere they mention that he's relieved of becoming the seal. Minato is the king of all personas

  • These events all took place in the 10:30 mins from the song

witch is almost the exact length of the song

  • we wreck up I go flying off and hit the snowbank while my brother was nowhere to be found I yell "brother!" there was no answer..

I start to look around I couldn't find him...

    "sigh" we never found him.

  • I like playing this on snow days yea get up in the morning my mom says: son its snowing outside! really! first I look out the window and stare then go out there then look up at the sky start shoveling the driveway then my one and only bud comes over says "snowball fight" im like "you know it!", So as I am snowball fighting this song is on, on my mp, my bro comes up with the snowmobile and says "bail on" so were going faster and faster then out of nowhere a snowball hits my bro in the face damn..

  • We need to go deeper.

  • this song has the ultimate climax!!!

  • 7:52 - Gets really jazzy!

  • When does this song play in Persona 3? Or is it a special music?

And what does it means judecca, empyrean, malebolge..etc.. ?

  • @IgnacioCryptmaw

    It plays in "The Answer"

  • @bitemytail

    oh thanks

  • Just wondering, is this the reversed tartarus dungeon ost at the end of the game?

  • I always go right to Judecca's theme. So beautiful and complete.

  • What's with these weird names of the blocks of both tartarus and the Doors? Yabbashah, Adamah...

Someone tell me if there is a translation to those words. Otherwise, Atlus is just freaking creative...

  • @SonicWolvelina99 They're hebrew words and most of them are iterations of the word "ground"

  • @tcguy1212 Oh thank you! (Sorry Hebrews!)

  • I could fall asleep to this...

  • ahh The Answer most people i know dont even play cuz its a "grind fest" and i say sure it is but all the cut scenes animated or not, music, story, the fact that you can make Thanatos by triangle or normal fusion and later Messaih if you're crazy enough, and the final boss make it all worth it for me.

  • 0:00 - door 1 malebolge

    1:44 - door 2 cocytus

    3:26 - door 3 caina

    4:56 - door 4 antenora

    6:26 - door 5 ptolomea

    7:50 - door 6 judecca

    9:18 - door 7 empyrean

i never did like this song until i got to ptolomea and judecca, but then it grew on me.

  • Never had the patience to listen to the whole thing in the game. But this is friggen awsome! Reminds me of how the music build up when you reach a new block in Tartarus.

  • Becomes awesome at about 6:30

  • I freaking love this song. I could stay in the abyss forever, f*** the world. :p

  • In a world filled with lies, traversing the cryptic corridors that seem to bend reality, one begins to wonder while lost in the soothing but eerie harmony of this music, "What does it mean to live? What does it mean to die?"

Truly, destiny is a daring concept to dance with...

  • I never heard this song further then 7:50 It really comes in action in that point and the piano is a nice touch too .

  • So calm...

  • @Anhiksi

    ...

    ENEMY ADVANTAGE!

  • This is a lovely song, the simplicity and slow build are great. Now to arrange it for piano, including the sax or whatever in the background XD

  • I've just been listening to this over and over since yesterday. It's so simple, yet so good. Captures the mood perfectly

  • I really enjoy the violin in the song when it reaches its certain parts , it sounds so marvelous and good- it really adds to the beauty that this soothing, calm, serene song has to offer.

  • this song makes me feel like playing the answer lol

  • Antenora had that really "Egypty" feel, what with the music and the "Ruins" look...

  • Niiice..still searching that first part of the game when he has headphones and is about to go into his new dorm gau where is it.

  • not great BUT GREATEST FOR ME!! yea baby..

  • Persona games have a great soundtrack!

  • wow it fits the description of P3's dark and gloomy path and is very calming!!

  • I don't think this theme is gloomy at all. In fact, I think it is very much the opposite. It very perfectly captures Time and the part of the realm where the divine roam. It is like Elysium or perhaps like the technologically superior (and vastly mysterious) ruins buried in the sands...

    The Sands of Time.

  • anyone knows what is the name of the bgm that played on the whole dorm in persona 3 FES the answer?

  • living with determination, I belive

  • Song of my nightmares.

    ... I hate grinding. =(

  • Man I love this song. Most calming song I have. I listen to this song when doing homework, relaxing, or to get me to go to sleep.

    Shoji Meguro, you are amazing.

  • Woah, I never listened to this whole thing. This is fucking awesome! thanx Slayer0!!!!

When I first listened to this it made me think about how deep P3 really was...

  • @BonkuriTokio112 "When I first listened to this it made me think about how deep P3 really was..."

    LITERALLY!!! lol

  • Pretty repetitive in-game... but if you listen to it that way, it's pretty cool.

  • i love this song too aswelll.... while played it, seems i stoped myself there just to listen to this!!!! great!

  • I wish they spilt the songs into sections like with the tartus songs

Someone needs to totaly do that with this lol

  • I listen to this song when I wander my university campus at night. It's also a good way to time myself if I need to be somewhere within 10 minutes.

  • THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!

    Love this song!

  • OMFG SPOILER ¬_¬

Thanks for ruining the Answer, numbnuts!

  • It so reminds me of the Tartarus blocks since a tune is added everytime you enter a new part of the abyss of time.

  • I found it interesting that the dungeons are named after various levels of hell. I believe Cocytus was the deepest level where things are actually frozen in hell, and if I'm not mistaken, it's the last dungeon you go through before you fight HIM.

  • Well, you're half right. Cocytus is the deepest level of hell, but only the second part of the dungeon that you go through.

If I remember correctly, Empyrean is the final dungeon you go through.

  • are you talking about monad ?

  • No, the dungeons in The Answer.

  • That's cool! I never realized that and it makes sense in a way. To be trapped in the Abyss of Time after going through that hell in the previous year is like another hell in it's self, so these levels were properly names in my opinion. Good eye on noticing that!

  • you're thinking of Ptolomea

  • Iloved the abyss of time music so much! I remember I finally beat the normal game on my birthday and finally made it to the bonus game. This whole Abyss music is so soothing and relaxing, not to mention beautiful! I love it!

  • is the Abyss of Time more dangerous than Tartarus?

  • not, almost all of the enemies are recycled, but since the Abyss is automatically set on Hard Mode, than makes it harder and more dangerous.

  • Thank you for letting me know this.

  • Also, unlike in tartarus where you can warp back to the bottom before you fight bosses (which gets you your health back) in the Abyss, the warp points are right AFTER bosses. In other words, you have to fight the bosses with all the damage and SP loss from the dungeon itself (they do still have save points before bosses, so you can still try again if you die)

  • That is also a VERY good way to get a game over, too! Now I know why they have said to play P3 first, beat it again, and THEN play P3FES. Have a great week, and thank you immensely for this info!

  • Its not THAT hard that you should need to beat P3 twice. Im Still playing The answer, and its more challenging, but I went straight from the journey to the answer.

  • ...I thought she was impossible to lose to. Once she hurts you enough, she stops attacking...

  • how so?

  • Well, you fight a boss at the beginning. That is strange.

  • Think of it as a story fight. And again, iirc, you cant lose.

  • What does iirc mean? Thank you for letting me know.

  • If I Recall Correctly.

  • Thank you. Some of these expressions are... strange, for the most part.

  • This is a truly calming song. 5 stars, and it should be a classic masterpiece, too!

  • I love this one totally calming great to listen to while doing school work.

Just really awesome tune and i hadn't played Persona 3 but now i know why there is a track that long im amazed he created a track like this truly inspires me in new ways.

  • This music makes me nervous.. @_@

  • We hear this every single time we go down into the Abyss of Time...its stuck in my head now.

  • thank you Slayer0!!!

  • Wow. I didn't realise how soothing this music was until I heard it on youtube o: Its my favourite now ^^

  • I like the rhythm! Very peaceful...Sometimes, I listen to this when I do my homework! ^-^ thank you for uploading!

  • @ Slayer0: After listening to this track for awhile, I had an idea (more of a suggestion, actually....).

Would it be cool if you somehow managed to remix ALL of the Tartarus Tower tracks into a single song similar to this one? I would DEFINITELY listen to that (especially if it was done perfectly!) :)

  • That....would....be AWESOME! How soon can we all get the songs of Tartarus in one?

  • I'll do it, then send the file to Slayer0 to upload.

  • good one

  • sounds better than the tartarus one...

  • From what I can tell, this is all of the Abyss of Time variations mixed into one long song. So, you don't have to worry about the enemy encounters interrupting it; each area just plays a different portion. ;)

  • This is a good song but it's too long to be dungeon exploring music.

Unless you don't encounter a enemy for about 10 and a half minutes

  • absolutely right lol

  • Yeah, that's true. I always liked just standing around event areas (doors, the entrance, etc.) and looking around, listening to this music... it's so...Interesting to me...

  • There are 7 parts of the dungeon and each one gets its own part of the track.

  • @Lusankya2

    I already know this.

  • It reminds me a little FF8 before it hits past 7:50

  • Hmmm....

For some odd reason, this reminds me of the Tartarus block tracks from the 1st to the last (especially when the song eventually, um, "progressed" from the simple to the complex tunes, you know what I mean?).

The only difference is that this track has a major calming effect on you compared to the other one, obviously....

  • I do like this one a little more than the other one lol :P but both of them are really good :)

I have P3 and ive beat it almost 4 times now :) so right now ill wait untill FES comes out to europe...if its ever going to be released here... :(

  • October 17th

  • yep it coming to Europe finally

    woo!

  • Sweet, where can i find this online?

  • Try Bluelaguna

  • This is good "thinking" music

  • On February 24, Fes went into the reserve system for Gamestop/EB Games with a release date of April 23rd, and a of $29.99 price. The final annoucement on the release. =D

  • Have anyone play FES?? Will he be back??

  • ooooh but where does it play?

  • well do you have the persona 3 FES?

if you dont then you can't find it

  • it plays in the dungeon. that's why it's so long, the farther you go in the dungeon, the more the music changes.

  • happens a lot this way in recent SMT games, Like the DDS series for PS2.

i never went far in Aigis's FES version, so i never heard the increases in this song. sounds great around 3:30 and at 4:57.

  • i never realli sat down and listened to it hehe, i figured it would be like a tartarus kind of thing...which is true...so i kept switching to maya's theme ;)

  • hmmmm i kinda like it

  • Long, slow, repetetive, but actually not bad. I kinda like it.

  • Yeah, even if you listen to the whole thing, you don't get tired of it.
