Queenstown is amazing...10 days of excursions including MUST DO's ...Shotover River Jet, Milford Sound overnight with Real Journeys, and horseback riding in Glenorchy just to name a few. Our favorite places to eat are OLD MAN ROCK Cafe (best eggs benny, flat whites, and excellent friendly personable service) and CHICO's Bar and Grill for dinner (mentioned in the video) ! Queenstown = A SPECTACULAR VACATION!

Only if they're really into Bungy.... or white water rafting, hiking, skiing... or just being in a beautiful village that can get quite cold. Most older folks are looking for warmer environments, but I'd like to retire there!

Too crowded Councils a bunch of pricks, half a mill on a BUS SHELTER. be prepared not to get nice friendly service except at KFC (seriously). And half of the town doesn't speak english so really don't come

I just got back from here, had the best time of my life, I'd reccomend going there, nice food at Fergburger, Slice...good bars are Winnie's and Buffalo's an the activities are amazing :D I envy anyone going there in future x

I was in Q-town after New Years Day. Loved the place. I made it a point to visit the 2nd floor Men's bathroom in the Sofitel Hotel. Cool bathroom especially the wall behind the urinals. I want to go back !

Oh C'mon! NZ is waaaaayyyyyyyy better than RJ. First of all, they are organized and the only organized thing in Rio is the CRIME! Get a grip! I've been to NZ too and it rocks! last time I went to Rio is was robbed, now the brazilian midia is trying to cover up all the bad things with some stupid CARNAVAL idea. So I agree with OISEAUDENUIT, NZ is one of the most beautiful places on earth not to mention Australia, which is simply AMAZING!!!

7000 Kiwi's go to Australia every month/week (I cant remember actuals), some of my family have moved over to Australia and they said wages are better in Australia and some things are cheaper but it is much of a much-ness. Australia is a little cheaper. - So, I have heard from Friends/Family who moved from NZ - Aus.

Depends on the dollar. I went over February this year and when I got the statement the biggest difference was around $10 to $15 dollars. Anyway these days anywhere you live is expensive. Always depends on whether you would feel happier living in the fresh air of NZ or the heat and flies of Australia? I know what I'd do.

i went to queenstown a few years ago and it was awesome, when you drove from queenstown to glenorcy which is a small village just outside queenstown you see some of the best scenery you will ever see in your life and thats no exaggeration. my only criticism of queenstown is that the prices are pretty dear and there was to many americans and most of them were huge
