  • About as cheap as they come if you want great service quality and unlimited everything. Been on it for three months and I'm pleasantly suprised, I was expecting some ghetto stuff at this price and the internet isn't 3G but really good otherwise.

  • I was tired of the high dollar plan too. I guess thats why we both turned to straight talk lol. Cool that you ordered it on the website. I actually picked mine up at the walmart store itself. Going to walmart that day was a great choice by me. I know am saving more money than i thought i could.

  • @RedmanJim9 Going to wallmart sounds gross and Straight Talk isn't perfect as a high-dollar alternative, the internet sevice isn't exactly 3G. But as signal strength goes, it's BETTER than most contract phones I've had which is really shocking and the price is of course dirt-ass cheap.

  • I just wanted to say that I switched to Straight Talk sold at Wal-mart and have saved a lot. I do not have a contract, no hidden fees, and no bills at the end of the month. It is pretty cheap per month for $45 a month you will received unlimited access to texts, talking, free 411 calls and 30 mb of data. I switch and glad I did.

  • @2442asia have you gotten a dropped call yet? Not me. Did some research and found out that's because they have deals to use both the Verizon and ATT networks. Combined, that's like a super network. For less money. Weird eh?

  • straight talk wireless is hot lol. Thats a funny title. I will agree that straight talk wireless is a great phone company but i am not one to call something hot lol. I guess thats just not my style. If you want to save big dollars use straight talk.

  • I have been using the pre-paid samsung phone tha I bought for my son (who is at summer camp) and am amazed at how compact and user friendly it is. I pay a fortune for my conract phone and I don;t know why> IWhen my contract is up I'm heading off to Walmart to purchase not one but two samsungs from straighttalk, one for myself and one for my hubby!!

  • @pebblesjames Did you get the Samsung T401G? Cuz I have that phone and it's AWESOME!!! It has an mp3 player, a camera AND a full QWERTY keypad which is great for texting. And the unlimited plan is unbeatable at $45 a month.

  • I think this guy is telling the truth, I've been on Straight Talk for four months now and just love the savings that I'm getting, 40 bucks a month. And because of the Verizon network my service quality is actually better lol

  • Straight Talk phones make for great gifts, I just got my brother the Nokia 6790 for the holidays and I know he'll thank me not only for the phone but for the fact that he doesn't have to worry about a contract anymore lol

  • What i love the most about straight talk phones are the no contracts and no hidden fees with monthly bills. I remember my old contract phone i went over minutes and i was charged like 50 dollars extra! I really had enough so I took charge and made the switch. Luvin the $45 unlimited plan!

  • @mnj980 Ya I know what you're saying, I used to pay like 120 a month under my old contract on some months where I lost track of my minutes. Been on Straight Talk for two months now and don't miss it for a second.

  • Since switching to Straighttalk, I no longer get those high dollar bills that I was getting from my contract. I save in excess of $45 a month which enables me to put my daughter on the straighttalk $30plan whcih gives her 1000 minutes of talk and text. For myself I have the $45 unlimited plan which really is unlimited. For the 2 of us I pay $75 which is less than I was paying for just a contract for myself

  • i just bought a straight talk cell phone and got the 45$ card.... its awesome i can send as many texts as i want and call any one who i want when i want and i can access the web i mean this phone should be the only phone out their i mean poeple dont need a htc droid with over 300,000 aps thats jsut bs and it consumes way to much battery so if ur looking for a phone that is a "no brainier phone" this is the way all phones should be not 75$ a month and only like unlimited calling!!!

  • I agree with this guy. I hated the whole "$60 but it's actually $72 per month contract". Straight Talk is straight forward. We DO pay more for cell service in America than any other country. That's why I'm happy with my $45 plan for unlimited minutes, texting, web, and 411 (which I started using more with straight talk since it's included). I haven't looked back since I made the switch!

  • I got my phone at Walmart for a really reasonable price. I now have the Straighttalk 45 unlimited plan. For $45 I get unlimited talk, text and data and there are no hidden costs - just a straight $45. With the money that I save everymonth I have now been able to put my daughter on the Straighttalk $30 a month plan. She gets 1000minutes of talk and text for the month and as she is a text addict is really over the moon with the deal

  • nothing left to say i guess but that straight talk is a hottie for me too. i got the $45 a month and get talk, text and data unlimited. i got a cheap phone for $19.99 and could not be happier. for me it is the service that counts and not the device. the phone does it's job and i no longer have to worry about huge bills at month end, and can therefore chat and text away.unlimited is great.

  • If you want more value for your money, Straight talk is the plan for you. No overages, no hidden fees, and no monthly bills! For $30 a month you get 1000 minutes, 1000 texts, 1000 mb of data transfers and no roaming charges added!

  • this prepaid plan is not only hot, it rocks.i got the $45 a month plan which gives me unlimited talk, text and data. it sounds unbelievable, but seems to be true, i am still looking for what is wrong with this deal, but can't find anything unsatisfactory with it. the reception is great, i do not have to pay extra for long distance, and thanks to verizon i have not had a single dropped call. i use my phone a lot, and therefore save huge since i switched over from contract. simply lovethis st deal

  • I just feel great knowing I got my act together with the right cell phone plan. The more I think about it the more I realize that this Straight Talk $45 unlimited plan I got the other day is a mega money saver for me. Besides being able to phone all over the country for as long and as mutch as I want, I can even switch to a cheaper plan for $30 for 1000 texts & 1000 minutes and 30MB of data if I need to if money is too tight in the next month. This is a safety net for me.

  • These cellphones ARE hot! I still cannot believe that for just $45 a month you get unlimited minutes, unlimited texts, unlimited mb of data transfers, and the 411 is completely free!

  • definately a hot deal. i got the unlimited prepaid plan from straight talk, and am loving it. no more longterm commitment, no hidden fees and overages, nice and easy. and the phone straight talk offers are also real hot stuff. i got the qwerty slider with music player, camera etc. hot deal, hot stuff, hot phones, hot prices....straight talk rocks

  • I was also really tired of the high dollar cellphone providers. i wanted something a little cheaper with the same high quality service. Straight talk really did answer my prayers! NOW I can enjoy unlimited minutes, unlimited texts, and unlimited data transfers for only $45 a month! It's that simple!

  • I have been searching for ages for a better contract deal because I actually couldn't afford my current one anymore. There were just so many hidden clauses and small print with all the ones I looked into and then I came across the unlimited Straight Talk package. No contract, a set cost every month and I can call, text and send data as much as I like. It has great coverage as well!

  • This cellphone plan is great. I have the $45 a month plan and I get unlmited minutes, unlimited texting, unlimited MB of data and the 411 is free. I love the Straight Talk plan as well as saving money!

  • I have the R355c and straightTalk - WOW what a great deal. For $45 iget 30 days connection plus unlimited talk text and web nationwide. This means that there is no limit on the time that I spend on a call giving me cellphone freedom!

  • This guy has a very similar story to me:) I really have loved straight talk since i got samsung r355c around 3 months ago and since then Ive been over the moon with the coverage and the huge savings!

  • this guy is so right. every month these contract people seem to find something else to add on. not so with Straight Talk. $45 a month. no more, no less. i always know where i stand with my finance, and yet i have unlimited talktime.also unlimited text and webaccess. no nasty surprises at month end. straight forward deal

  • Is definitely a no brainer! 1000 minutes and texts, nationwide with amazing coverage and no surprises for $30. Straight Talk wins again!

  • I like that you have allot of freedom with straight talk plans. I have the freedom every month to choose beforehand if I want to use the $45 unlimited plan or the $30 plan for 1000 texts and talk nationwide & 30 MB this either depends on how bleak my budget is looking or how much I need or want to talk. Most of all I like the $45 unlimited plan with total freedom to phone & text as much as I want, freedom from worry about hidden costs, crazy statements & there's automatic top up.

  • i lound my Straight Talk $45 a month plan at walmart and have not looked back since. i love the unlimited talk, text and web access for half the money i used to have to fork out for my contract. with verizon i have never had any dropped calls. and there are no hidden costs. straight forward deal. no overage fees and no extra charges for long distance calls. staying in touch was never cheaper

  • I've saved $60 / month since switching from a cell phone contract to the Straight Talk $45 prepaid plan. Being a 'value for money' nut I really love this ST plan which gives you 30 days service, unlimited talk & text nationwide, unlimited data & free calls to 411. I've got the automatic monthly top up which is so convenient & I like that you don't run out of minutes in the 3rd week of the month, there's no additional charges, no cancellation fee's, no surprise monthly bills.

  • Def on the level of any other well known contract carrier out there and in my experience, has surpassed all contract I've had. I never really liked being stuck with one plan and phone that I could change with more contracts or penalties. I love that Straight Talk really gives me the freedom to change plans based usage and has a decent selection of phones - I do hope that increases though. Its nothing fancy, but Straight Talk gets the job done.

  • I love Walmart! I ordered my phone online and had it shipped to the store as well. So easy and convenient! This guy is right, Straight Talk has no hidden fees. I pay $45/month and get unlimited minutes, texts and data!!

  • This guy is great. Not someone I could relate to well but I have to agree with what he's saying. I've been really happy with switching to Straight Talk, good value and good coverage on a well established network. All around its been a good choice for me.

  • I wish they had more of a selection of phones!

I'd switch but I love my BlackBerry!

  • couldnt agree more ive had just about every phone plan there is and you deffinetly get the most bang for your buck with straight talk. unlimited everything for 45 bucks a month its great and no bills in the mail awsome text talk web all unlimited for 45 a month the only thing i dont care for is there customer sevice its not the best but you hardly ever need it i think ive needed to call them maybe three times in the past year

  • Actually wish I switched long ago. Then I would have saved so much more during the last two years contracts suck! :-(

  • i hate hate hate hate hate when my phone call gets dropped... guess what service doesn't drop your calls? thank you, thank you tracfone for not being a bitch

  • Dropped calls are definitely annoying and I'm so glad that I no longer have to deal with that now that I'm with StraightTalk. Not only am I paying a lot less monthly, I'm also getting better reception without having to be bogged down with a contract if I do decide to go with another carrier...that's if something better comes along which I highly doubt. I mean $45 unlmited is a hard to beat deal!

  • I got so tired of my phone calls always bteing dropped and when my phone did get signal I was charged roaming charges.

I changed to Straight Talk for the great coverage and super prices.

I use the simple $30 monthly 1000 minutes, 1000 messages and 30 mb data. Now I can be happy about being in touch.

  • It is certainly the best cell deal, prepaid OR contract, available to consumers in the States. An unlimited contract will easily cost you double the $45 Straight Talk charges. And the fact that you don't have to sign a contract, and hence no ETF or hidden charges, is just bonus!

This video deserves to be seen by as many people as possible.

  • i agree carl. For once somebudy is looking out for us, the people. I can't believe how affordable it is to now own a phone on the Verizon network.

  • It's great to finally see a wireless carrier encouraging a price-efficient, non-binding, effective service. With such a low monthly price, excellent network, and great phones, like he says, its a no brainer.
