  • I am in love with this song <3

  • berga

  • This song is very Black Sabbath like. I love it!!!

  • Black Sabbath-like...love Queen!

  • this is my fav queen song. its so kick ass

  • rock n roll!

  • Queen- the KING of rock

  • Who's going out to Record Store Day and getting the vinyl of this and "Keep Yourself Alive"?

  • ROCKIN SONG!!!!

  • One of the most badass songs in their catalogue. However, only recently have I realized that the lyrics are an indictment on feminism. Amazing how some of the lyrics will go over your head when you're too busy being mesmerized by the vocals and instrumentals.

  • Probably the best Queen song. Reminds me of Black Sabbath with this powerfull bass especially at the end.

  • The first time I heard the main riff I thought it was, Black Sabbath, it wasn't until I heard Freddie's voice that I related it with Queen. Awesome song, another proof of Queen's inmense versatility...

  • That bass riff is sooooo <3

  • So they're gonna remaster the first album? Perfection doesn't always have to be perfect. In fact, it is the imperfections that give things character. I'm glad I have it on vinyl.

  • @buddhabder they' re gonna remaster first 7 albums

  • Woah...never heard this side of Queen. The sound reminds me of Black Sabbath. Once again shows how diverse their music is.

  • Is this Queens first album?

  • @gravebull yesssssir progressive rock then blossom into rock opera with bohemian. freddie mercury (farrohk Bulsara) who makes us all asian/indians proud.

  • is Queens first album

  • i do think this 2 first albums of queen are very similar to led zeppelin's style

  • such an angry song, absolutely love it... i sense something iconoclastic about it

  • Love, love, LOVE this song! It doesn't get any sultrier than this ~*

  • Any thought on the meaning of this lyric? Rare for a young Brian doing some criticism.

  • Brian May once said in an interview that nobody believed it was him who wrote the song because it contained the word "shit". Good track :)

  • The riff!

  • Great hook.

  • Epic in every way. One of my favourite Queen tracks. I read an interview once in which Roger said they hated listening back to his drumming on this album. Listening to the beginning of the verses, I know what he means- though I think it's more a problem with the mix than dodgy playing. Epic riff. Monster vocals. Majestic. I named my son, Freddie- that's how much I love this band!!!

  • @certificate18flix Idk I think his drumming sounds good in this album.

  • @briana887 Oh, I don't mind it either, though It doesn't sound 'full' like the Bonham sound from the same era. I look forward to hearing the new remasters coming next years. I'm sure Roger will be involved and the whole thing will have that extra little beef in the mix :)

  • @certificate18flix Oh they will remaster the first album? that sounds cool like do they re-record some part like lets say they erase the old drums and he records new drum sounds?

  • @briana887 they won't re-record anything but they will be able to go in and clean up and eq the old recordings to make them sound a little fresher. they remastered the albums around 20 years ago for release on cd but they have apparently shifted labels now and are working on remastering the whole back catalogue again. hopefully they should unearth some rare outtakes and demo versions for inclusion on the cds. i hope they just bring out a boxset as i don't want to fork out for them all again.

  • @certificate18flix You are crazy:) but I liked this:)peace

  • @certificate18flix Definitely naming one of my kids Freddie and one of them Rhye for Seven Seas of Rhye....and they better be pretty epic. haha

  • It would be a dream come true playing this riff as a guitarist, while your singer is Freddy Mercury.

  • I want you to be a woman..

  • wat a riff !

  • what a beast riff!!

  • This is one of my favourite Queen songs. Especially the 'I want you-part'.

Freddie's voice also sounds very strong in this song.

    Very much respect for him!

  • That's right Tony

  • Queen
