Hey, yeah, no problem! I'm playing a Martin DXM, no electronics included! I paid about $500 (incl. tax) at an IRC music store. I use Martin light guage strings on it, and a light Fender pick for the strumming. Don't be shy to ask more q's - I'm happy to help!

Personally, I wasn't so sure I had the strum right either! I'm self-taught and explaining strums isn't something I'm trained to do. However, if you start by thinking about the words let my love open the door and use a downstroke for each word, going slow at first, then pick up speed and let the pick (or your finger, whatever) emphasize the high strings as you upstroke as well you may find something close to what I play. That's how I figured it out! Hope this helps!

Fine job. To judge from the videos of the songwriter performing live, Pete capos at the 3rd, as you have done, but begins with A (X03330) and then plays E (XX6454) and D (XX4232) through the verses. Of course, your transposition fits your voice well, and it works for mine, too, so thanks for the notion. One small thing: the chorus starts with an Em, not with a G as you play it.
