Melodyn is a tool which corrects mistakes in the voice and makes it possible to sing so emotional and strong while hitting every note perfect... Even tho, since i watched the movie i respect beyonce, she should make more real soul and less shitty pop!

@Rengels98 I agree with you, I've always liked Beyonce but I think her vocal performances in this movie really took her talented capabilities to a new level. I'm 62 and I remember Etta's version very well it was fantastic but Beyonce did claim this one!

@gilconent12 Exactly, both versions are great, and yes Beyonce claims this one. I don't remember Etta's version when it came out because I'm fairly certain I wasn't even alive. Some people wonder why I listen to 'old' music and I must correct them, it isn't old music, it's great music. :)

@Rengels98 Not really. Etta James was more so a voice for her time. Like Beyonce is for this generation. They both have wonderful voices. In some instances I love this version better because of the emotion. And then sometimes I'd rather listen to Etta's.
