My boss informed me and my co-workers if Obama wins there will be lay-offs! Needless to say, the stress factor is very high at my job.

Yea people know sex leads to babies. But the REALITY is, u can say "don't have sex" til ur blue in the face...if they are going to do it, there's nothing u can do to stop it. You can see how well abstinence-only teaching worked for the Palin family. PERFECT example right there. That's great that she's keeping the baby...but had she felt that she could go to her mom & talk to her,then maybe she wouldn't be pregnant now.

Thats where parenting comes into the picture. You have to take a test to get a liscense, take a test to go to college, but anyone can be a parent. Maybe if there were more support for parents, they would know how to talk to their kids properly about sex and there wouldnt be such a big issue. However majority of abortions are not happening with teens, they are with "responsible" adults.

Hardy har har. I highly doubt that abortions would be happening at the high rate that they are now. Even so, botched abortions and back-alley abortions are still an issue, even though its still legal.
I also find it interesting that still no one can answer the question; what magical event happens between conception and birth that changes the child from "fetus with no rights" to "human with rights" status. There isnt one.

The same as the abstinence argument. It's a beautiful thought & that's what u hope for, but REALITY is your kid is probably gonna have sex before they're married. So why not be realistic & teach them how to protect themselves. That would prevent a LOT of abortions right there. Be REALISTIC & preventive...stop walking thru life w/ blinders on!

Great Britain and most of Europe have a socialist health care..run by the government, which means, rich and poor alike receive the same level of treatment for free.. plus any medication you need not matter what type cost only £6.50 for each order... unless your on state benefits and then its free, they have had this system in place for 50 years..they never ever have to worry about being able to afford hospital bills, as there are none..do a little research people..
