They are not Ertls i think. They came with a Thomas magazine from De Agostini. They gave away free Thomas trains when you got the magazine.

Ertls are from model and collector shops and Deagostini I got on a subscription and were sent to me in the mail. In 2004 - 2006.

I can see the UK ertl thomas the tank engine and other characters are differnt from the USA ones

These are not Ertls. The Ertl engines in the US and UK are the same, only they were made longer in the UK. The models used in this are made by a company called "Deagostini." The only ertls in this are Mavis and all the track.

all the engines in this video i got from a local shop. They were part of a magazine range, where each week you would get a Train and a piece of track. They only came out in the Uk though. In 2004-2006

No, the track I used in this video was made by ertl, the track that came with the deAgostini trains was orange and bumpy. And they didn't make any models that ertl didn't, however some of the accesories that deagostini brought out, like The country station, tunnel, crane and water tower, are quite different to the ertl range's versions

I don't like some of the deagostini models, 'Arry and Bert does not look the same, Rusty looks Chinese, Stepney does not have no detail and there should be Mavis, Emily and Spencer.

It would have been nice if the cabs were open instead of that black stuff in there. That way you could fit little men for drivers and fireman in there.
