They do give you a new Xbox, or at least fix your old one. And I have both PS3 and Xbox 360, and the 360 is so much better. Better games, better online experience, just everything about it is better the PS3.

PCs can achieve much higher resolutions than 1080p. Also they can be upgraded to have even more power than most already do than consoles. They may cost more, but you can build a 400-500$ PC that's much better than a console. Also the graphics are much much better do to the higher resolutions and the added AA/AF settings.

Put it to you this way, my friend played COD4 massively online everyday with his 360, told him to try the PC version (He has a very nice PC). Hasn't played his 360 since.

Graphics dont really matter as much as being able to play and chat with friends and downloading add-on content in my opinion.

You can download more add-on content with PC games even mod them even further to your liking. All for free (and it's not illegal to do so). As for chatting with friends you can use ventrillo or teamspeak to chat with your friends in game or out of the game. As for graphics don't really matter, I agree to an extent. If the game has good graphics but bad gameplay, it's not even worth playing. Not being an arrogant ass, just trying to inform.

I do agree with what you said in your first post, but I would like to point out that:

1. Xbox 360's can play 1080i

2. It doesn't make much difference on a PC because the monitors are small, 720p and 1080i are almost exactly the same.

360s have HDMI now and can support full 1080p. PC monitors go up to 30" (Which has a resolution of 2560x1600 "1600p"). Although the monitor is smaller, it has a higher resolution which provides more pixels, more pixels = better quality. As soon as the 5900 series release I will be gaming at 5540x1050, consoles can't do that.

PCs are excellent, I will say that. I just play consoles because I've been playing consoles since and I was 4 and am extremely used to using a handheld controller as opposed to a keyboard. Plus, its much cheaper for me to play Xbox and a lot of my friends own one instead of a tricked-out PC.
