As an airline pilot who hasn't flown GA in 30 years, I love to watch videos such as these. Brings back memories that still stand as the best of my life. You really do capture the essence of aviation in a way I cannot describe.
Y'know, I have to encourage you to come visit us at SBM next year. The Weekend before / at the start of Airventure, the Trojan Horseman put on a formation flying clinic and airshow at our airport, about an hour's drive east of OSH.
It's nice to be a little bit less restricted by the airshow grounds...

What is the Black and White high wing aircraft (and pilot) at 1:35? It looks like a plane Duane Cole used to fly years ago. Love to see such exacting stick-and-rudder flying with aircraft like this.

It's a good video. Doesn't have quite the same effect as the one for 2009, but it's good. I think the different pace of the song caused you to change the way you paced the video. It's different, but still good.
The heron was pure class! That was a very good catch. The last section of the video sealed it for me.

Awesome! My brother and our sons and a friend have been to AirVenture 6 or 7 times and this sums it all up in one awesome video. I have litterally thousand of pictures over the years, but the quality of this video says it all. This is amazing and brings floods of memories back. The rain and near floods this year were only a distraction, not at all a damper on the overall spirit of the event. Thank You.

This was my first Airventure and after seeing last year's video with the Killers "All These Things I Have Done" as the soundtrack, I fell in love with the thought of going to Oshkosh. What an experience it was.

NIce... but. I didn't like the sampled (fast motion) bits and thought it was a few too many shots. A more selective edit of what you wanted to show would be better, IMHO.

Thank you so very much for sharing this video. For six glorious years from 2000 to 2005, I was blessed with the chance to be a part of that crowd, watching history unfold before my eyes and camera. Now that I live elsewhere, I look to people like you to fill me in on what I have missed in the years since. The sights, the sounds, the thrills, I miss them all, but for the few minutes while watching this, I got to be transported back there again and feel it all again. I thank you for that gift.

Awesome! My brother and our sons and a friend have been to AirVenture 6 or 7 times and this sums it all up in one awesome video. I have litterally thousand of pictures over the years, but the quality of this video says it all. This is amazing and brings floods of memories back. The rain and near floods this year were only a distraction, not at all a damper on the overall spirit of the event. Thank You.

You did it again, Slick! Another amazing video from the Greatest Show on Earth. You captured the true essence of what Airventure 2010 was all about. GREAT JOB!!
This was my first Airventure and after seeing last year's video with the Killers "All These Things I Have Done" as the soundtrack, I fell in love with the thought of going to Oshkosh. What an experience it was.

NIce... but. I didn't like the sampled (fast motion) bits and thought it was a few too many shots. A more selective edit of what you wanted to show would be better, IMHO.
Thanks for posting it - I did enjoy it even though I kept having to pause it.

Slick, You are sooo talented. Again you have put together a superb taste of Osh! Your 2009 video inspired me to drop everything and take my son to experience Airventure 2010...the Best Airshow on Earth and he was impressed! This is a powerful video that rekindled the flyer in me. thank you!!!!!

Fantastic video! Great choice of music. I really appreciate the story and the way you coordinate the various scenes with the music. The result is a truly wonderful video representation of the enduring inspiration and magic of aviation. Brings a tear to my eye... You deserve an award!

You outdid yourself again! The best AirVenture video.
(I just wish there was less music, or at least more subdued and more roaring engines sounds - like C5A and Stearman).
My favorite shots are: The old couple observing WWII fighter from Pacific and DC3s sequence.

@guess77who Thanks for the complements! As for the aircraft sound, you should check out my youtube channel and watch the "10 Minutes of Airventure" videos. It's where I take my footage and put them in to ten minute segments with no music or editing...just the raw footage.

I have never seen a video like it, never mind outclassing youself, you have outclassed everything. Over here in Enga;nd the restrictions are so much tighter, the royal interantional air tattoo springs to mind, but KOSH... its great. I love the video and i love the airshow. One day i might be able to bring over my Cessna F150 Aerobat over. Thanks Slick

Thank you so very much for sharing this video. For six glorious years from 2000 to 2005, I was blessed with the chance to be a part of that crowd, watching history unfold before my eyes and camera. Now that I live elsewhere, I look to people like you to fill me in on what I have missed in the years since. The sights, the sounds, the thrills, I miss them all, but for the few minutes while watching this, I got to be transported back there again and feel it all again. I thank you for that gift.
