Few people know this, but Matt Wieters never actually hits the ball. The ball becomes scared of his bat and flies the other way in self-defense.

It's gonna take more than Wieters to beat the Red Sox. Hopefully Angelos sees the gold mine prospect he has, or Wieters will be in pinstripes in 3 years

Orioles have him for 5 or 6 years so unless they trade him that's not possible. If he is good, they will do everything they can to lock him up long term like they did Nick Markakis.

cant wait.. greg zaun was a awesome acquisition by the O's to teach this kid.. could be a star in the making O's fans.. We just gotta deal with the losing for im estimating 2 more seasons we have such young talent.. our outfield may be the best defensively in the league with the addition of Pie, so young and fast.. hopefully pitching will come in and then look out yanks and bosox

I played against this kid in High School, him and Justin Smoak were on the same team (how sick was that?) and you could just tell then that he was a one of a kind player...
