Thanks for posting. Interesting to hear the two drummers ala Keltner and Jim Gordon with the Mad Dogs and Englishmen tour. Jeff P. is about nineteen years old here. Him and Jim Hodder are rockin.
Would love to know more about how this was recorded. . . Had to be a board tape of some sort. . . . the stereo shift of the guitar in beginning. . . Vocals are over driven like crazy which is pretty common for board tapes. . . Really captures the early band. . . And by the way Becker is a really good bassplayer.
@richdys Oh yeah way too clear to not be a board recording, you're right about the vocals overdriving through the board and yup Becker was a great bassplayer.
Can the recording of this concert be bought anywhere? It truely is amazing IMO!

Amazing, I was at this gig, the only one they did in the UK in the 1970s I believe.

not a big Michael McDonald fan; he tends to oversing.

@thefoppa1000 I kind of agree with you about McDonald in general, but here the vocal blend of Fagen, Jones, and McDonald is perfect.

still a bit heavy on the drums though, and for some reason my post from last week was deleted.
