Nice job with this one--I find myself learning great new card tricks by watching yours and figuring them out. Your sleights are fantastically done, this trick had me a few times, but I eventually got it and I now love to perform it! Not to say that you perform it badly--quite the opposite. But the trick does lend itself to being figured out, especially when I can replay it many times :D However, I am really bad at flourishing all the cards in the deck out by sliding. Any tips on that?
Thanks, I used to do the same thing, I consider it quite a compliment. Just so you know, though, there are much better magicians out there, and their work is on youtube, so learn from the best, not me! But invest in a couple of good books, you won't regret it.
I think you mean the ribbon spread: focus on the index finger... that's about all I can tell you. You just have to practice until you get the right amount of pressure and how fast to release it. Good cards help.
Right, I know what you mean, but I like to watch your work because you have some really good tricks that aren't so professional that I'm scratching my head like crazy, and yet they have stunning effects. I adore your all backs with aces trick, it has me flabbergasted and it looks GREAT. In this trick, the tap dancing aces, I think there's only one weakness--when you fold the card up really small, it's a bit obvious. Any suggestions for other methods? Like pretending to put it in your pocket?
PS. Everything looked great, but i personally recommend moving your hand away from the dirty spot after you load the card. Leaving your head at that position too long might be a tip-off.
I agree, although the main issue is that a trick like this doesn't work very well on camera, where you can rewind and see what happened. In a live performance, there is a plenty of misdirection, and I find that smooth movements attract less attention than fast. Thanks for the feedback!
Yeah, of course. Videos for tricks like these aren't great. I didn't rewind to catch it, btw. I just saw it the first time :P. Haha. You did it good, no doubt, though. I thought about this effect, and i've tried to come up with a bit of a variation for the handling. Message me back if you're interested.
No dupes or any other gimmicks, can be done impromptu with a borrowed deck. Also, the spectator chooses which aces goes first, and which one goes last.
i found out the trick but couldnt get the part where u got the clubs in between ( i even found out that the clubs had another card along)...can u pls tell me how u got the clubs there!!pls...
VERY nice job young man. Very nice to see that you respect Paul the man, enough to really practice this and get it smooth. It's another GEM of Paul's. I really enjoyed your handling.
Thank you very much, smitty747, I am glad you appreciate the effort that went into practicing the routine. Everything PH does is terrific, really... Now if I could only get my hands on volumes 2&3 of AoA!
very good, would you like to trade tricks? i would be very greatful if you would trade with me, i have subscribed to you, so if you want to trade, just take a look at some of my videos, those are only a few of my tricks, but i have only been doing magic for about a month.

Yep, not much you can do about that on video. In live performance of course nobody would notice.
