everyone, including the officer in question knows that specific police procedural protocol states that only same-sex officers perform strip-searches etc. The cop knew what he was doing was wrong, thats why he made the girl follow him around the corner out of the surveillance camera's view. All law enforcement agencies know good & damn well better than to do that, but they are not accountable for that because the treatment of jail prisoners is a very low(non-existent, really) priority for the public. I suppose men who get made to strip with female LEOs present, are not as known about, because they just plain don't want to talk about it. It is still outrageous.
